Charming villa in excellent location. The pool was cool, pristine and refreshing. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The open living area below the rooms has a lovely, homely feel. Very Nubian. Eslam was very hospitable. He offered to organise anything without being pushy. We took advantage of his personal river tour and were put on his boat for 4 -hours. Aswan is beautiful. A complete juxtaposition of Cairo's chaos. The river here, near the dam is pristine and clean.. We swam at a golden sand beach reminiscent of a Mediterranean beach.

Lake Nasser is truly one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, and I strongly believe it is a destination everyone should visit at least once. Matatagpuan sa pinakamataas na burol ng Aswan, ang Hotel Basma ay nag-aalok ng mga natatanging tanawin ng River Nile. Nagtatampok ito ng terraced garden at pool deck. Staff were great and I even got invited for a complementary dinner but due to tight schedule, I could not attend. Hotel is very clean and breakfast varieties are really good.

Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. The room was extremely comfortable with a direct view of the Nile. Quality was exceptional and confirmed in the small details like toiletries and mattress (quality). Staff was lovely and professional. There are two ATMs at the hotel - inside the garden next to the restaurant and right at the main door next to security, which is very convenient and safe to withdraw at any time. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations.
