Power and internet never failed, which was impressive given the island’s frequent outages—Starlink made working online effortless. We loved having access to multiple pools, a gym, and special experiences like carving lessons. Excursions took us from dolphin tours to cultural sites, and the diving team helped both beginners and certified divers feel at ease in the water. The food blew us away—fresh, flavorful, and farm-to-table quality. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, adventure, and authentic local flavor.

A place to feel at home! Thanks to the extreme good care of Inca and her staff. She truly understands what hospitality is! The food (3 times a day) is delicious. The rooms are clean and nice. Bathrooms spacy and practical. Without being obtrusive or pushy, the staff is alert to help you with everything you need. We fully enjoyed diving with Jimmy and his team. He’s at ease, funny, careful and takes good care of the people he’s diving with. They all make sure that you lack nothing. We highly recommend ‘lekker gezellig’ to stay and Jimmy to dive with!

We spent 6 days there and saw wonders under the water. Perfect place for rest, relaxation and diving!

The location is perfect, a little bit away from the village so it feels very peaceful and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. You can really relax here without any distractions. This place has everything you need: the rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with nice little touches that make you feel at home. The owner and the staff are absolutely wonderful, very friendly, caring, and always ready to help with anything you might need. They gave us great tips about activities around Bunaken and made sure our stay was smooth from start to finish. It really felt like being part of a family rather than just a guest at a resort. The restaurant is also a highlight. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, and you can really taste the love in every dish. We especially enjoyed trying the local meals, but even the simple dishes were cooked so well. Having good food after a day of snorkeling or diving made the whole experience even better. Overall, Villa Queen’s is a beautiful and welcoming place to stay in Bunaken. It combines comfort, warm hospitality, and great food with the perfect location for relaxation. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy Bunaken in a calm, cozy, and unforgettable way.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Coral Eye Boutique Resort and Marine Outpost offers accommodation in Bangka Island. We stayed in a bungalow. It was perfect and beautifully appointed with lots of outlets, hooks, and flat surfaces for your things. Also, great air conditioning. Water dispenser in room with hot and cold (tea/coffee too). Our bathroom was beautiful with one open air shower and one covered. Everything was really clean. Restaurant was fantastic. Loren the chef is amazing. House reef is terrific. Snorkelling/dive staff were accommodating and professional. Boats were clean and new. Beach is beautiful to walk. Grounds were lush and well kept. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Well run operation. Great all around. Highly recommend.
