Absolutely charming! We loved our stay at Kariappa House. The rooms were truly beautiful—tastefully decorated, spacious, and full of character, with wonderfully hot showers. The common areas were equally charming, and strolling around the quiet backstreets felt wonderfully authentic. Nestled near the sea, the location has a lovely village feel yet is still close enough to walk to White Town. We had initially worried about potential temple noise, but we didn’t hear anything. The staff went above and beyond, and Mr. Ramzy was especially delightful. We really appreciated all the information in the welcome package. Being away from the hustle and bustle in central Pondicherry made for a wonderfully relaxing weekend of touring, resting, and enjoying great food. Kariappa House’s beautiful garden and pool were perfect for retreating after a day of exploring. We will certainly be back!

The property is an old mansion fully renovated to its old Glory...The heritage design is very impressive and it is a luxury stay guaranteed...I was very comfortable with family, my wife and two teenaged daughters. Ofcourse privacy being most important ...we felt at home and enjoy the room and pool. The staff was very courteous including the Security. The location is also really close to White town with many restuarants and beach in the vicinity.
