Set 9 km from Siena, this 19th-century country house features a restaurant and outdoor pool. It offers traditional Tuscan rooms with wood-beamed ceilings, surrounded by sunflower fields. The most authentic and beautiful place we’ve ever visited. We loved it. We had a great dinner at their restaurant and we wished we had more time to spend there. We loved Toscana and we definitely would come back again

Villa Nottola is a former noble residence in the countryside of Montepulciano, besides the namesake winery. It offers a sun terrace with swimming pool. The wine tasting was excellent. The food in the restaurant was superior. The breakfast each morning was the best we had our entire Italian trip. The wait staff were wonderful and very comforting. Mony and Happi were lovely and very helpful

Hotel Pescille Country House - Tuscany Charme is set in an old farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside, 5 minutes' drive from San Gimignano. It offers a large garden with swimming pool, and free parking. Lovely and picturesque location. Lovely views from our room. Clean and comfortable bed. Enjoyed our swim in the pool. Staff were very attentive. Fabulous.

Located in in the Chianti region between Florence and Siena, Villa Sabolini sits in parkland overlooking the hills of the Tuscan countryside. The hotel offers a pool and free parking. The whole experience of staying at Villa Sabolini was perfect in every way and we will certainly return. The location, the Villa, our room, the restaurant and the food and last but not least the staff were excellent.

Certosa Di Maggiano is a former monastery located in the Tuscan countryside, 2 km from Siena's famous Piazza del Campo. It offers unique rooms, free internet and free parking. After a very difficult year, I wanted to find a special place in Italy to spoil me and my partner. I always look for places that will have something a bit special that can elevate our stay from something nice to something extraordinary and Hotel Certosa di Maggiano was not only extraordinary, it was extra extraordinary. The place is stunning, from every angle, totally unique and slightly quirky. The breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant is divine - elegant, very good food and waiters - without feeling overly fussy. The recommendations for things to do in the area brought us to places we would never have found on our own and took us off the tourist trail - including excellent, local restaurants. But like every experience - the thing that made the place truly magic were the people, the staff, they really care about your experience and the hospitality is so genuine and kind. 8 days we will always remember. Highly, highly recommended.

Borgo Grondaie is a large property built out of an old Tuscan farm, just 2 km from the historical centre of Siena. Location is great, very closed to supermarket i.e. Unicoop, with big parking lot, so very convenient with people who travel by car

Pool outstanding and very clean surrounded by olive trees. You also have to try cantuccini il santo, delicious.

Immersed in the Tuscan countryside between Siena and Florence, this 4-star hotel offers high-quality service on 20 acres of rich parkland, just outside of Monteriggioni.
