Brett Cox, a member of the staff, is a native English speaker. He made our stay exceptional. Kudos also to the chef for accommodating vegetarians, not an easy feat in Japan. Omotenashi has been perfected by the Setouchi Retreat. Well done.

Boasting an indoor swimming pool and a large public bath, Imabari Kokusai Hotel is located a 10-minute walk from JR Imabari Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. We had just completed the Shimanami Kaido by bicycle and the staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was well appointed with comfrotable beds and a good sized bathroom. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. We enjoyed our stay in Imabari and would love to return.

宝泉坊ロッジ features an indoor swimming pool and a sauna, as well as air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi in Kami-ōno, 17 km from Mishima Shrine. A fridge and kettle are also available. This was one of the most enjoyable stays of our trip. First of all, the staff were absolutely amazing, so kind and friendly, really made out stay! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and then onsen amazing, so relaxing.

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Dogo er staðsett í Matsuyama á Ehime-svæðinu, skammt frá Joshin-ji-hofinu og Matsuyama-helgiskríninu. Boðið er upp á gistirými með ókeypis einkabílastæði og aðgangi að gufubaði.... The futon was very comfortable and after nice oncen i slept like a baby. The food were delicious too. The facilities were great.

Okudogo Ichiyunomori er 5,8 km frá Joshin-ji-hofinu í Matsuyama og býður upp á gistingu með aðgangi að gufubaði, heitu hverabaði og almenningsbaði. The hotspring facilities are all amazing. Especially, the private hotspring was quite comfortable and it was nice that they have several different options for it. Also, they have wide range of yukata which we can choose without paying any extra fee.
