SONEKA is located in Kitahiroshima, 8.8 km from Shin-Sapporo Station and 19 km from Sapporo Station. Everything is perfect. The hotel provided many thoughtful services and facilities. The hot spring and sauna were the best indulgence in winter, while the outdoor campfire offered fun, along with roasting marshmallows, creating wonderful bedtime memories for the kids. We had a fantastic time celebrating New Year's Eve and the Lunar New Year here. The in-room chef service was fantastic, with delicious and creative dishes made right in front of us. Watching the chef cook while spending time in the cozy cabin in the snow created unforgettable memories.

Boasting various hot spring baths, hot tubs and an indoor swimming pool, Daiichi Takimotokan is historic accommodation with Japanese-style guest rooms. Staying at this hotel was the highlight of our trip to Japan. It was our first onsen experience, so I was a bit nervous about the rules and etiquette, but in the end, we enjoyed every minute of it. There are so many baths to choose from, and all the areas are very well maintained. My partner mentioned that the men’s side had a beautiful view of Hell Valley—you can actually sit in the bath and take it all in. We used the onsen early in the morning and late at night, so it never felt crowded. I also really appreciated that they provided a full range of shampoos and skincare products to use after your soak. Our room was on the main building, it was spacious and spotlessly clean. Since we stayed two nights, they let us know they would clean the room at 11 a.m. on our second day. We left at 10:55 and returned briefly at 11:25 to grab something—and by then, the entire room and bathroom were already cleaned, everything replaced, and even new sets of yukatas laid out. I couldn’t believe how fast and efficient they were! If you're planning to visit Noboribetsu, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. The others didn’t look nearly as nice from the outside and didn’t seem to offer much in terms of views. This one is absolutely worth every penny.

APA Hotel Sapporo offers luxurious facilities including a seafood restaurant and a variety of traditional body treatment areas like an Utatane-buro (nap bath) and a Rotenburo Bath (open-air bath). An amazing hotel, clean and beautiful, with a nice onsen. The breakfast buffet offered a simply incredible choice of dishes, I would have had to go to multiple restaurants to try all of those foods. At the price of around $35, the room was quite affordable as well.
