The location was excellent as it was situated right at the bottom of the West Mount around Rusutsu Ski Resort. You can ski-in and ski-out quite easily to get to both West/East Mounts and Mt. Isola - though it is still a bit of a walk from the end of the ski-in trail to get to the Gondola. The Vale rooms are excellent condition, super clean and tidy, very modern and easy access. The rooms had Nespresso coffee machines which was great! However, we had to walk quite a bit to get to breakfast at the 'North Wing' of Rusutsu Resort every morning. There were no close by breakfast options downstairs.

The property is very modern and relatively new. However, I was impressed by the level of thought that went into every facet of our stay, from the room's views to the design touches, furnishings, and standard amenities. The food in general was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was especially exceptional. There was a variety of Japanese, Chinese, and Continental/American style items, but the quality of the local Hokkaido produce and ingredients put it over the top. We ate at two restaurants, an Italian and Japanese grill, as well as the Lobby dining area. All three were fantastic. Their pool and Onsen were modern, spotless, and had plenty of towels (a pet peeve). The service was remarkable as well. Any issues we encountered were dealt with immediately and without any pushback.

Boasting various hot spring baths, hot tubs and an indoor swimming pool, Daiichi Takimotokan is historic accommodation with Japanese-style guest rooms. Excellent hotel! It’s huge. Like a mall inside! It’s organized, check out at 10:00, check in at 2:00 pm. The room was big and clean. Ceremony of tea provided. Also they give traditional Japanese clothing for moving inside the hotel and it feels like being in a Japanese town, everyone dressed alike. Onsen is amazing, each pool with different minerals and temperatures. You can walk to Hell Valley bc the hotel is steps away. Japanese excellence all the way. Staff were attentive and helpful all the time. Absolutely amazing.

APA Hotel Sapporo offers luxurious facilities including a seafood restaurant and a variety of traditional body treatment areas like an Utatane-buro (nap bath) and a Rotenburo Bath (open-air bath). Hotel had all the amenities. We were provided with all the in room facilities. Clean room and bathroom. Hot water available 24*7. Had the best time here.

Featuring several public baths and a sauna, the Chateraise Gateaux Kingdom Sapporo Hotel & Resort offers Western-style rooms with free wired internet access. All the staffs were kind and considerate. Dinner buffet was excellent. Suite room was spacious. Shuttle bus was punctual.

Awesome hotel, really enjoyed it. Its aimed toward families, I wouldnt come here unless you have kids. Helpful staff and the room was big.

Shiretoko Daiichi Hotel features indoor and outdoor natural hot spring baths, a hot tub and 6 dining options. It offers contemporary Japanese-style rooms, a free shuttle service and free Wi-Fi. The breakfast and dinner buffet offers a good spread. The downside is the menu never changes. One may get bored if you stayed more than 2 nights. The rooms are clean and offers a big monitor for those who may need to work while on vacation. Room is clean too.
