Choosing a resort and location for Koh Rong was extremely difficult, Until we arrived I had no idea whether this was going to be a good location for us. Pulling up at the jetty was so picturesque. Upon arrival we were stunned with how beautiful both the resort and the beach actually were. The beach really does have white, white sand and beautiful clear water. Our welcome by Jodie on arrival was fantastic. She welcomed us with a smile and explained everything we needed to know about the resort and facilities. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was the most comfortable we had in our 3-week travel in Cambodia. Breakfast was also a highlight - with a huge selection of buffet items and the best range of fruit of any buffet breakfast we had. Jodie was a great help throughout our stay. The other great thing about the location of the resort is that there is also a local village bordering the resort - with a range of great, local restaurants as well. This provided extra choice and atmosphere. Everything about Golden Beach Resort was amazing and we would return again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a great stay!

The bungalow on the beach is amazing with an incredible view. We loved everything. The hotel is located on the best part of the beach, much more quiet and 5min away from all bars and restaurants. The staff is nice, the service is great as well as the food. Just a perfect experience.

Boasting an outdoor pool, a fitness centre and a sundeck, Long Set Resort offers accommodation in Koh Rong Island, an hour away from Sihanoukville by boat. Free WiFi is offered in public areas. The resort is set on a beautiful stretch of beach which the staff ensure is kept clean. The sea was lovely to swim in. The room was spotlessly clean. The pool was quiet and a great spot for morning exercise! It was just a short walk to local restaurants.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The hotel is incredibly cozy with a superb location. Our room was spacious, spotless, and boasted an incredible view. The staff were so friendly, and the food at the restaurant was delicious with generous portions. And the cocktails were to die for! A special thanks to Mr. Chumnit and Dima for their quick and efficient help with all our requests. We will definitely be returning next year!

We had a fantastic stay at Apsara resort! The staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help. The beach was absolutely stunning – clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. We liked the restaurant, beach bar, the style of decoration, room was spot-on in every detail.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the right place. We genuinely loved everything about this hotel — not just the facilities, but the feeling it gave us. Andrea and Katie, the lovely German host couple, made our stay incredibly comfortable and personal. You can really feel the care they put into every detail. We stayed ~ a week in a separate comfy bungalow. It was equipped with air conditioning, fans, a fridge, kettle, and tea/coffee. In the bathroom, everything was thoughtfully prepared — shampoo, shower gel, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, and even a hair dryer. Fresh towels for both the shower and the pool were replaced daily, and the room was cleaned every day without fail. And we absolutely have to compliment the kitchen separately. We are true food lovers, and every single dish we tried was delicious. The menu is a wonderful mix of Khmer and Thai cuisine alongside German classics like schnitzel, bratwurst and sauerkraut. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. We met regular guests who come back mainly for the food — and now we completely understand why. Katie kindly helped us arrange boat trips to the islands, which made everything smooth and stress-free. There’s also a very good gym just five minutes away by tuk-tuk (around $1.50 per visit), which was a nice bonus for us. What we appreciated most, though, was the atmosphere. It’s cozy, peaceful, and quiet — the kind of place where you truly feel at home rather than just a guest. We left with very warm memories and planning to return.

Great location near the sea, very professional and friendly staff, offering pretty much every service and amenity that one wishes from a hotel. The food was really great either at breakfast or other meals through the day and everywhere it felt extremely clean all the time. I would like to leave my greetings to M. Kim Ladang, that accompanied me through check-out and that I will remember like pretty much every cambodian I have met: with a great smile on the face
