Located at the heart of 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic site, Skybay Gyeongpo Hotel is just within a short stroll of Lake Gyeongpo and Gyeongpo Beach. The staff were very friendly and ordered a taxi to take us around for three hours. We didn’t mind forgoing the govt subsidy as we wanted to be picked up and dropped off at the hotel. We also liked the two convenience stores, esp the one on the lobby floor. The cafe was very gd too- Twosome Place. There were amazing seafood restaurants next to the hotel that were open for dinner on a Wed night during winter. Unforgettable snow crab n jumbo shrimps with sashimi and tempura. The beach is just opposite the hotel and you can see it from ocean view rooms.
