It's been an amazing stay in this small hotel outside of Sigiriya! The hotel property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was amazing, welcoming and helped with every kind of request as well. The breakfast was served as a set menu with so many options from fruit and continental to Sri Lankan food. The service was exceptional! Sigiriya is a little too far away to walk but it's only a few minutes by Tuk Tuk or car.

Loved my stay here! room was comfortable, spacious, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. loved having a bar/restaurant on site, the owner helped me coordinate tuktuk rides for all my excursions, was super friendly and helpful. location of homestay could not be more ideal!!! pool is beautiful and cleaned daily.

Offering a barbecue and sun terrace, Sigiriya Water Cottage is set in Sigiriya, 3.4 km from Sigiriya Rock. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Good size pool. Lots of mango trees. Very helpful host. Best value transport.He arranged for us transport from Colombo to Sigiriya, Sigiriya to Kandy and Kandy to Tangalle with stops at both Nuwara Eliya and Ella.

Everything was at a top level. The food was great, the rooms were clean and Mr. Dinusha, the owner of this place did his best for us to have the most amazing memories from Sigiriya. He arranged everything for us, transportation, safari and we saw lot of elephants, trip to Sigiriya rock and also we received some beautiful gifts when we left the hotel.

This was an excellent place. Wifi was excellent, wonderful hot shower, super clean rooms, beautiful host, great AC. Amazing food and even cooked us a beautiful pasta for lunch. Super handy to the rock and town with restaurants to eat within walking distance.

The staff was amazing. Always available to make our stay better. They arrange tuk tuk, safari and transport to our next destination. We met the owner, lovely and so attentive. The cabin was very cute and clean. We had a terrace with couple of chairs to chill. Also have hammocks. On top of the cabin there is the tree house where the staff organised breakfast for us. The tree house has increíble views. Peaceful place. Full of trees, cero noise except for the birds. We spent hours and hours just chilling and relaxing. Everything was so easy. This was really the highlight of our trip, nothing have been as good as this place. The staff are there to really make your life easier so you just spend the time enjoying. A heavenly tropical escape. Thank you so much. We will miss this place.
