Place is well maintained and honestly great value for anyone looking to stay in Fez.

Dar Bensouda is located in the heart of Fes’s Medina, just 15-minute walk from Batha Square. This riad offers en suite rooms, 2 courtyards and a swimming pool. Beautiful Ryad, nice locality, very good breakfast and the best was the staff: my girlfriend broke a tooth on a Friday night, at the dinner. On the next morning (note that it’s a Saturday morning!) the staff was super helpful and got us an appointment (after several fone calls!!!) in a very good Dentist! Congratulations, anytime that I will come to Fes, that’s the place!:)

The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, always going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after. Nothing was too much and they catered for our every need - from the owners to the waiters. Thank you. The food was outstanding, fresh, homemade, and full of flavour, prepared by talented local chefs right on site. Our stay was nothing short of wonderful, and we’re already dreaming of our return.

By far, the entire staff, especially Amin and Hayat, were extremely professional and helpful! This was one of the best staffs we have ever encountered! Our son, Dorian, became ill due to the heat at the beach in Rabat and the staff helped us at night and the next two days with him. They did not have to provide so much support. They supported our every request. We loved the conversations with Hayat and other staff members. It is very important to us to speak with the staff, if we can. It helps with the vibe of the place. The location of Riad Louna is superb! We stayed at Riad Louna for 6 days and used it as our "base camp." We did individual tours with our tour guide, Adil Loula, each of the 6 days. We visited the Fes Medina, military museum, Volubilis (Wow!), Meknes, toured and spent 3 hours on the beach in Rabat, Middle Atlas Mountains, Irene, and Chefchaouen ("the Santorini of Morocco") plus other panoramic locations. It was nice to return to the riad after a long day and rest in our large family room. The most upper terrace of the riad was nice in the evening - so relaxing and peaceful!

We stayed in a beautifully renovated Riad with simple yet lovely decor, especially in the common areas. Our room was comfortable, featuring a top mattress and cozy pillows. Although the TV didn’t have antenna channels, we easily connected to Netflix and YouTube, which was perfect after our daily outings. The room had four large windows, three overlooking the breakfast patio and one facing the side street, providing plenty of natural light and fresh air. Breakfast was delightful, offering various Moroccan breads, cake, jams, olives, dates, olive oil, and delicious orange juice. The kitchen staff kindly prepared eggs upon our request. The service was outstanding. Mohammed met us near the Riad, helped with our luggage, and welcomed us with tea. Ibrahim was always around, very helpful and friendly, communicating effectively despite limited English. Zacariah promptly fixed a shower issue upon our arrival. The kitchen ladies were also very pleasant. The location is excellent; we walked everywhere as it’s close to the souks and Medina. There are many restaurants nearby, and taxis are available at the corner of the Riad. Just ensure to ask drivers to use the meter for a fair fare. Overall, a wonderful stay with attentive staff and a prime location.

Riad Dar Timrad er riad sem er til húsa í sögulegri byggingu í Fès, 4,5 km frá konungshöllinni í Fes. Gististaðurinn státar af þaksundlaug og sundlaugarútsýni. Great location in the Medina. Facilities were amazing. The employees are phenomenal, friendly and helpful.
