The location provides an open view of the Bay of Islands and the buildings, and the facilities are relatively new and well appointed like a proper resort. The apartment suite we occupied was spacious with large rooms (bedroom, living room, bathroom, closet & kitchen), and the rooms were very well equipped and clean. Plus, it had an in-suite washing machine and a dryer that were used by us with appreciation. Above all, Tina (the receptionist) was very friendly and helpful, who provided useful tips for sightseeing and graciously allowed us to leave our vehicle in the resort's garage for a few hours after our check-out.

Love the cottage feel. Comfortable with everything needed. It was close to a cute town with places to eat. Host was very friendly and helpful.

It was central to all the places we visited & especially close to Kaikohe to Kerikeri! Ngawha Springs or a long trip to Cape Reinga. Its also close to Paihia & the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. The moment you drive through the gate you'll be greeted with welcoming smiles from the owners. Then you'll be rewarded with breath-taking views of the mountains that surrounds your stay. You could sit in the pool for ages enjoying the views. Its a relaxed, quiet, peaceful & private home next to the owners whose kind, gentle, witty with excellent communication. The 2 rooms are big and one room has a library of books that we enjoyed reading by the poolside! The kitchen has everything you need & the shower/toilet is big. They have laundromat's everywhere in each town that runs for 24hr's & this we enjoyed talking very much with the local's. But your stay does have washing facilities provided. Electric blankets were a bonus & your beds are comfy & warm. You can go for a walk on a gravel road away from the main road greeted by friendly cows. We can't thank Felicity & Don enough for such an amazing stay (& Starr) We had a busy week/weekend with Meetings & breaks but they have made us feel right at home. We definitely will book this place again!!! ps Wifi was great & the fat Fijoas drops fresh each day 😋

Beautiful location, peaceful and extremely clean. They greeted us when we arrived and had everything you could need or want available for us. They set aside snacks, some fresh fruit and cold water which went a long way.
