Ronaldo and Natalie are so kind and hospitable, we can't recommend them enough :) All of the meals were delicious, and 2-3 courses. Ronaldo welcomed us with a welcome drink too, which hit the spot after a long day of hiking. Facilities were very clean, and they have a nice pool and lounge area and good wifi. Highly recommend for a stay in the oasis when hiking the Colca Canyon!

The hotel staff is professional. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Accommodation for disabled guests is also available at the property. Tidy apartment complex in Arequipa. You'll need a taxi/Uber to get to the historic center, but it's not far. The apartment itself is a little bit smaller than I expected from the photos, but good enough for 2 people. Note that there were no shampoo etc provided as indicated on the photos. We used the laundry and gym facilities. Laundry was a bit of a hassle because you need to ask the concierge for the time etc., but overall it's convenient to have this possibility (just needs some planning). The property manager is very responsive on the Booking app and the people on site are very friendly and helpful.

The historic centre is 1 km away. The hotel is beautifully decorated. Nice to have a balcony in a reasonably sized room. The staff were extremely helpful and the owner was very welcoming. It is a relatively short walk to the town centre (20 minutes or so). Nice breakfast.

In addition they have a spacious bathroom, 3 showers and glass-cielings, allowing guests to stargaze as they shower. In Las Casitas everything was perfect: from the coziness of the room to the preparation of the staff, that did everything to make our stay the best possible! Each activity must be tried!

The lodge is well-regarded for offering an authentic and natural experience in a truly unique setting. The team welcomed us very warmly. We told them that our hiking shoes broke completely beyond repair during the hike to Llahuar and the owner was very committed in helping us - he made it possible that our larger backpack that we stored in Cabanaconde was brought to the lodge so we can retrieve other shoes for the resting hiking days. Beautiful place, good food, welcoming vibe!
