Efleda - the host - was really responsive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The Reef Island Resort Mactan, Cebu has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar. With free WiFi, this 4.5-star hotel offers a private beach area. The hotel services and staff assistance were just excellent! The breakfast buffet has a great variety, we also enjoyed hotel dining places due day time. There are also some activities that hotel provides and made us have more fun - like table tennis, pool table and water sports. It even had some daily usage. I also liked the gym and snorkeling experience. But of course it's the staff who made our stay at the hotel the most enjoyable and welcoming!

The room was very clean,complete with all the necessities that one would require in a "home", and the services impeccable - it was PAR EXCELLANCE!. Very much appreciated is the added "honesty" mini grocery which we find very convenient and helpful to us especially that the tower is located in the inner part. ALSO Very much appreciated is the eagerness of the owner (Jerry) to assist us in finding a ride going to our next accommodation. The constant reminders thru whatsapp was also very helpful.

Papabo Backpackers Mactan has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a restaurant and bar in Lapu Lapu City. I stayed in the capsule and found it very comfortable, clean, and surprisingly quiet. The relaxed social atmosphere, friendly staff, pool area, and on-site sports bar make it a great place for backpackers, especially for late arrivals. A few small finishing touches are still ongoing, but overall it was an excellent stay and clearly deserves an exceptional rating.
