We had a wonderful stay; the hosts were very welcoming and everything was thought so we would have a great and relaxing time. The Supermoon is very cleverly arranged and there was everything we needed there. The homemade breakfast was great too as well as all the explanations, information and visit ideas that were shared with us. We really had a lovely and relaxing experience.

Hotell Kung Gösta is just around the corner from Mora Train Station and 20 minutes’ walk from the Zorn Museum. Tomteland Theme Park is only a 15-minute drive from the hotel. This is one of the best value for money I’ve ever seen. Great location, super friendly staff, spacious rooms, sauna and gym. Breakfast is great and they offer dinner too for a really good price

Hotell Gyllene Hornet is located 1.5 km from Tällberg Train Station. It offers free WiFi and free private parking. Guests enjoy sauna access, a 20-metre indoor pool and views over Lake Siljan. It was out in the countryside where it was peaceful. It was also near Dalhalla where I attended a concert.

Housed in a 15th-century farmhouse, this Dalarna countryside hotel is 400 meters from Lake Siljan. It offers free Wi-Fi and charming rooms with luxury beds and a flat-screen TV. Clean, comfortable, great location, quiet, beautiful old buildings and garden, excellent breakfast and wifi, great service, good parking, great spa with heated outside pool! Excellent value! We also were given a free upgrade.

Elite Hotel Brage is located in downtown Borlänge in the heart of Dalarna, a 5-minute walk from the Central Train Station. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast! Choice of pillow. Little gift bag with a handful of chocolates. Parking from Sunday night until 10am Monday ended up being free with public car park within 50m of hotel.

Located in the peaceful Dalarna countryside village of Tällberg, this hotel offers fantastic views over Lake Siljan from its hilltop setting, 10 km from Leksand town centre. Very large and nice bedroom and nice breakfast

Price was good compared to the hotel and location. Beautiful view. My partner and I even managed to see the nothern light from our hotel room. Staff was an absolute delight. Super helpful and kind both from the lovely receptionists to the waiters in the restaurant. Even before we arrived they were great at accommodating my requests and helping me find transport to the hotel. The spa was small but very lovely after a long day of skiing. The breakfast included was good and healthy! With some Scandinavian treats included. It was walking distance from the lifts.
