Featuring an outdoor pool and a fitness centre, Silks Place Tainan offers 5-star accommodation in Tainan. It is a 10-minute walk from Tainan Confucius Temple, and a 15-minute walk from Fort Provintia.... Initially I was a bit anxious booking the hotel because of the room photos, but I can clarify now that we have stayed there for over a week: - Bathrooms are separated from the main living space via sliding walls and doors! great for privacy. Initially, I thought they did not have bathroom doors & separation by looking at the picture. I was wrong. - each room has a de-humidifier so that rooms/bathrooms never get steamy after a long shower - Front desk and cleaning staff were exceptional! Everyone was very accommodating, helpful and lovely to interact with. During our stay there was a typhoon, the malls and hospitals were open and we wanted to grab something to eat. The staff directed us to a safer route to the mall next door, by going down to b5 parking lot and heading into the mall entrance through there. It was so fast and easy! - close to Family Mart, about 3-4min walk - close to Mitsukoshi mall, about 5min walk - Pool was larger than expected and the lifeguards were always on their toes - towels and water bottles provided at the pool area - water station to fill up on water on every floor - shuttle bus for tour provided by the hotel, they even have a "party bus" I believe on Friday/Saturday nights. Book in advance for shuttle/party bus.

That was a perfect stay with my family. Told our room was upgraded to a deluxe family room as my parents are 90 and 92. That was a great gesture and it was very much appreciated. We were very happy about everything such as the room, the staff, the swimming pool, sauna, spa, breakfast. We were so impressed with the high-rise infinity swimming pool. The view from the pool is fantastic. We definitely want to stay there again.
