Located barely 1 km from the prominent Gurudwara, Golden Temple, Ramada By Wyndham Amritsar features an outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre and offers 2 dining options. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety, especially the Indian items that had a nice Amritsari-Punjabi touch. The location was also okay, but they should add a few more signboards or markings since the hotel is inside a narrow street, which can be a bit difficult to find for first-time visitors.

I am writing this review from a different property closer to the O.P. Jindal campus and I can honestly say I am regretting the decision to switch hotels. The Ramada is absolutely worth the extra ten minute drive. The quietness, pristine cleanliness, and superior service make the short commute undeniable value. ​From the moment I arrived this property exceeded my expectations. The staff were lovely, genuinely welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. I was checked into a spacious and comfortable room and greeted with a welcome fruit basket which was a thoughtful touch after a long day of travel. ​A standout experience was the dining at the first floor restaurant. The food was excellent featuring a solid menu that balances local specialties with Western cuisine perfectly. What truly impressed me however was the service. The team met my specific dietary restrictions with total ease and confidence making the meal stress free and delicious. ​If you are visiting the area or the university do not make the mistake of compromising on comfort just to be a few minutes closer. The Ramada provides a level of peace and professional service that is rare to find. I will definitely be returning here for my next visit.
