The hotel is directly on the lake shore, so it was great to just go to the hotel's bathhouse and swim in the lake from there. Lovely cocktails and food at the hotel. The hotel is very dog friendly, which we love and the staff is really nice

The hotel room was absolutely amazing , it had everything we needed a big comfortable bed a very usable kitchen a great big bathroom a lounge room as well as a dining table it was fantastic. The breakfast in the morning was on the top floor so you had an amazing view but the room itself was just awesome so cozy in the winter and the food was fantastic as was the lady who looked after us at the breakfast she was amazing

But don't worry about the noise—the rooms are completely soundproof, and once you close the windows, silence reigns supreme! The absolute highlight is the staff, especially the reception team, who are incredibly kind and always smiling. I've stayed at One66 a few times already and have another trip booked! Back after a couple of years and still has the Bora relaxing feeling. They have made some improvements and changes since our last visit and some are really good. The new extension on the sky bar so even when weather not great it still makes an excellent location for a cosy drink at the end of the day. The new rest rooms so even more places to chill after the saunas and pool. The restaurant serves good food and the chef will make almost all the dishes gluten frei if asked. The staff will provide gluten frei rolls for breakfast when asked and there is muelsi that is GF as well. Always tidy and organised. We have had nothing but helpful staff in hotel and sauna. Love this hotel and facility. Always a shame when we need to go home and feels a long time till our next visit at Christmas.

The hotel is on the lake-side. You can park in the hotel entrance (just a few spaces) or in the road outside. We were able to have a long walk along the promenade (and even saw some brave soul swimming in November). The scenery across the lake to the alps is epic? Our room had lots of extras that you wouldn't get in an ordinary hotel such as a minibar with free water, snacks and a Nespresso machine. The bed was one of the most comfortable that we have ever slept in. It's a short walk from the town and there are a couple of places to eat within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. The person who met us at reception was lovely.

This is a great place! Beautiful location, and the staff takes excellent care of it. Clean modern rooms with nice views. The restaurant offers several options for dinner and all of excellent taste. April and May are perhaps the best time to visit Konstanz...

April and May are perhaps the best time to visit Konstanz before the summer rush. Great place for sailing or kayaking. And of course visiting Insel Mainau or Meersburg. For those staying longer, you can also cover Switzerland and Austria that also share the lake's borders.

Very lovely and quiet town with lots of places to walk around, shop and be in nature. The views are incredible and there are many good restaurants available. A great little getaway with plenty of activities and well worth a visit, even several times.

Lindau was a nice 2 day visit - unfortunately, virtually none of the museums and sites accept the Bodensee Plus Card - a rather expensive 3 or 7 day pass that was sold by the Lindau Tourist Information Center - that was a surprise. Very easy to drive to Brengenz Austria for their offerings.

We liked the beauty of Bregenz which is situated alongside Lake Constance. There are nice restaurants & cafes, shops, walks, boats etc and we enjoyed the cable car ride to see the small farm, great for children and the views of the mountains are spectacular. The area is excellent for cyclists & runners, and for people with mobility issues. There are ferries which go to the small German island of Lindau, which is worth a visit and it takes 20-30 minutes. Quite a few of the cafes shops and restaurants are closed on a Sunday.

Überlingen is a beautiful and peaceful town by Lake Constance. The views are amazing, and it’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature. The town is clean and well maintained, with nice walking areas. Overall, it’s a pleasant destination, though some areas could be a bit more lively. As a foreigner in Germany, one note from my experience: if you need a reliable internet connection—especially for remote work—I would not recommend the LIDL connection (Vodafone network). The signal quality can be inconsistent, and roaming did not work well for me even when 5G was shown in Zurich, Switzerland. It may be better to consider other providers for more reliable connectivity.

Beautiful city, lovely old town. walk up to the 3 ponds for the view, lovely. We were there on a Sunday night, end March, and the city was deserted by 5.30pm. Really struggled to find an open restaurant (Marketplatz, saved the day).

Wonderful city with its own character and atmosphere. People are friendly, there are a lot of places to visit and see, everything is centrally located or easily reachable by foot, train or bus. Worth a visit!

Lovely town, & near to lots of other nice towns which can easily be reached free by bus or train using the Bodensee card obtained from the hotel. Bike rental is easy to do, swimming in the lake is possible, boat trips on the lake are very nice too

I was lucky, nice sunny weather, lots of nice terraces, bars...

I was lucky, nice sunny weather, lots of nice terraces, bars and good restaurants. Good for a nice walk along the waterline, good connections to Friedrichshafen and other places around the lake. The old town and chateau are certainly worth a visit.
