The host there was a wonderful French-Swiss lady who did everything she could to make me and my wife comfortable! She checked us in, showed us our room, and on our last day when we ordered breakfast she laid it out and had some Swiss music playing in the dining room. She was a pleasure to chat with and get to know the history of the property and how she came to be the proprietor there. Hospitality runs in her veins! The property is a 20-30 minute drive from Lake Constance and some spectacular hiking in Switzerland!

This well located hotel is perfect for exploring the Lake Constance area around Friedrichshafen and beyond. The rooms are comfortably and spotlessly clean, the swimming pool and sauna in the basement allow you to ease aching muscles after hiking and excellent massages are on offer if the sauna isn't enough. The well stocked breakfast buffet will set you up for the day and the friendly staff are very helpful.

The location is convenient for exploring the historic part of Constance without the hustle and bustle of town. At check-in, we were given vouchers for a free bus ride into town which takes about 10 minutes. The bus stop was just across the hotel. We also liked the forest-like setting with a view of Lake Constance. Weather permitting, guests are able to enjoy a beer garden and other seating arrangements outdoors.

Traveling in Europe in the Summer is a hit or miss with places having air conditioning, we were so thankful there was AC! We slept so wonderful with the AC and the black out blinds and curtains. Breakfast was good, service was a little slow, but there were only two waiters and I am sure this was because of COVID-19. This hotel was close to Lake Constance or Bodensee and to a little shopping center.

A super place to spend time at Lake Constance. The host was very accommodating to let us have the key way ahead of check-in time. The apartment is quiet, large, modern, clean, and equipped with everything one needs. The lake can be reached by walking a few minutes. An extra plus is the small supermarket in the building area to get necessary supplies. We had a great time and will be back.

Our family (two adults and two toddlers) spent this past weekend at this lovely hotel and it has been our most wonderful hotel experience in Europe. The room was beautiful and clean, the food was excellent and the staff were completely amazing. If you are looking for a place to stay near Lake Constance, look no further than here! We will absolutely be back!

Very nice helpful girl welcomed us at reception But we booked this place on the strength of reviews saying it was near the harbour and great views of Lake Constance. ha ha ha. The “harbour” is tiny, two small restaurant/bars a walk from each other, no view from our first floor room and balcony other than rooftops of the houses in front

The hotel is very nice placed in the old town, close to Lake Constance. Family room is very big and luxurious, there is both bathroom and toilett rom, attic with 3 beds, nice tv sitting, very good equipped kitchen, terrace and much more. Wi-fi was good, breakfast was excellent. Paid parking garage is about 100m from the hotel.

This was the first hotel we stayed in that lived up to the description beachfront. We could walk straight from our room to the lake. Our room had a nice view across Lake Constance. We were personally greeted from the owner. Breakfast was great and the view from the breakfast room was wonderful. The staff was very nice.

We stayed at this hotel for one night as part of our self-guided cycling trip around Lake Constance. The hotel was easy to find & in a great spot in the middle of Lindau old town. A very comfortable & convenient room for the night before we continued our journey the next day. Secure bike storage was a plus too.

Hotel is close to Lake Constance, walkable to practically everywhere. Breakfast was huge, lots of variety. Room was spacious enough, view from the terrace is the open air auditorium and it's a great getaway from city noise. I didn't realize check in time was 3PM. But reception got our room ready in an hour.

The apartment is efficiently designed and furnished. It has a big window by the dining area and big glass sliding doors toward the beautifully maintained backyard with an unobstructed view of Lake Constance. The hosts are friendly and gracious. Our stay was comfortably pleasant, eventhough it was a rainy weekend 😅

The location of the property right on Lake Constance and it’s fittings were first rate & delightful. The hotel is located right in the town so restaurant were close by and many to choose from. I look forward to returning to your place in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay! -Steven

Very good location. Nice and quiet place. Close to the city center and restaurants. In apartment you will find everything you need when travelling in bussiness. And there is a nice surprise for families - very special children room ;) Close to Friedrichshafen and Lake Constance.

Amazing quiet place with great view of the vineyard and lake Constance, first class, high tech apartment, great kitchen and appliances. We would have loved to stay longer, if there had been a chance. Hagnau and Meersburg, everything you need in walking distance.

We loved it. Apartment 14 is where we stayed.. The view of lake Constance was the best . The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. The owner and the staff were amazing. Our 2 year old loved the garden and lake side walks.

We were cycling around Lake Constance.and had booked to stay here. This is a lovely hotel with a beer garden where we were able to have our evening meal. Lovely rooms and staff. Great value for money.

Fantastic location on the shore of lake Constance, with direct access to the lake. The entire hotel is decorated with a good taste for elegant, but discreet and fairly minimalistic furniture

The location of the hotel on the shore of Lake Constance with excellent views was great. The hotel and surroundings were extremely quiet. The rooms had a pleasant medieval atmosphere.

Wonderful food. I ate late, but the Wurstsalat was delicious and the view over Lake Constance beautiful. Nice prepared breakfast. Good signage to help motorists find the hotel.
