We really enjoyed our one-night stay at this great hotel, so much so that when we were in Schladming again two nights later we booked again. The rooms, while a bit small, are clean and comfortable and have everything you need for a short stay. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Barbara. When we left our sunglasses behind in the room she called and emailed us to let us know so we could retrieve them. We can't recommend this hotel enough!

Hotel Feichtinger is located in the centre of Graz, only a 5-minute walk away from Graz Art Museum and the historic old town. WiFi access is available free of charge. Great location by Lendzplatz which itself is a lovely square with restaurants and food stalls. It is two blocks from the friendly alien and the walking bridge into the main plaza Hautplaz and the stairs up to that big clock. So wonderfully located for exploring on foot. I got the apartment option, which had a basic kitchen and a good amount of space. The bed is super comfortable. (Pillows are very soft. So if you like firm pillow you should check to see if they are available). The bathroom had a great rain shower and a wonderful tub, which inspired me to get some bath salts at the local DM (some austrian beauty bath type shop). The price was surprisingly good for what I got. The check in closes at 10pm or thereabouts but they gave me a code to access a box with my key. Super simple, but if you may be delayed (as I was) you should let them know so you get that code. I did not get the breakfast option because there are many nearly by restaurants K&O rooftop for breakfast 8 minutes walk is amazing as is the coffee shop at the friendly alien or just in front of the hotel there is a lovely coffee shop. There was a nespresso machine in my room, which is great because I need a coffee to go out and get my coffee!
