A really fabulous location to enjoy the best of beach life and water activities.....kayaking, fishing etc. Very relaxed atmosphere and plenty of places to choose from for meals. It is also a good area to 'base' yourself for travel further afield for day trips as well as accessibility to Brisbane. Never tire of coming to the area.Guest review byWendyWAustralia - 10.0

We loved this well appointed unit, that was clean and welcoming. The complimentary sparkling wine and bottled water was a nice surprise. Lots of little extras including 10 points for ice cube trays in the freezer! The only negative was the 2 flights of stairs carrying luggage on arrival and departure.Guest review byGregAustralia - 10.0

The beach is so beautiful, it goes on for miles and is amazing to walk along. I love the relaxing vibe of Woorim, even though there are less shops and eateries, it is only a 10 minute drive to the busier side of the island. I visited Pigface Seafood and Mokha Cafe and both were brilliant. Unfortunately did not get time to try the Surf Club or the Hotel but both looked nice. Stayed at the caravan park years ago and it looks just as lovely as it ever was. I assume it would be much busier in the summer months, but it was very quiet and relaxing early September. I loved every minute of my stay here!Guest review byMaz72United Kingdom - 8.0

This house needs a bit better renovation to fix peeling paint and water damage on ceiling and on wall panels near sink. The beds were average and had adequate amount of pillows. Couch is large and good but situated too far from television that’s just me anyway. But over all this place was pretty gud to stay at it was peaceful and quiet and pet friendly which was a big plus. I’d recommend staying here to give some comfort to your stay which would be better than a caravan park or hotelGuest review byJohnAustralia - 10.0

We have relatives in Bongaree so we have been for longer before. A lovely place to stay with lots of good eating places, drives, art centre, library and bowling club. The beach is a hive of activity.Guest review byJeanetteDNew Zealand - 10.0

Everything good, the staff were polite and courteous, there was live band on the restaurant some nights you can sit there and drink and watch, there is a bar next to the restaurant ( my sis and I did not use it coz we dont drink😊), accommodation was what I asked for and our stay was lovely/ beautiful. Only thing in our room, is the glass door going to the backyard was difficult to open and dont have lock, but the screen door has lock. I have to put a chair on the door before sleeping. It did not affect our stay though. It would be good if management can check and do something about this. Many thanks Bribie Island hotel....I definitely recommend this hotel right in front if the waterways where you can go for a run or a jog....Guest review byEdithaAustralia - 10.0

Woorim is a fantastic place to holiday, especially families with children. Lots to do to keep the kids occupied and, if you live in the Brisbane area, only a short drive to and from. Woorim certainly has a holiday atmosphere ... like a lot of coastal holiday places were before they were over-developed. Heaps of places to eat and very child-friendly. We can highly recommend the accommodation at On the Beach Resort ... especially the 5th floor spa apartments. We have stayed in these apartments every year, for the past 3 years ... the accommodation is first-class (and we are fussy!), the views are really amazing! and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well-maintained. It is a quiet complex with direct beach access. A lot of travellers wouldn't necessarily visit Woorim ... but take a look one day ... I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised! ... and stay at On the Beach Resort which is one of the best holiday complexes we have ever stayed in. We will be returning again next year.Guest review byJennyAustralia - 10.0
Fantastic location and a exceptionally clean place to stay.
Fantastic location and a exceptionally clean place to stay. Linda was excellent in communicating with me and I can not recommend this place enough for visitors. Location was spot on with everything at your fingertips including a Woolworths. I personally wouldn't rent this out ..... Id live there!Guest review byRodneyAustralia - 2.0
The property was falsely advertised at having an ocean view.
The property was falsely advertised at having an ocean view. Nothing could be further from the truth. It was a property in the backyard with no outlook whatsoever in what was a converted garage with outside toilet and shower over toilet toilet no better than a caravan.Guest review byDavidAustralia - 2.0

We didnt end up staying, the house was so hot , the air con wasnt working , only 1 ceiling fan in one bedroom , Rang and told the agent they werent interested and so rude, asked for our money back but refused to give it back, they advertise the house as a dog friendly, but dogs werent allowed in side, Was a wasted trip up there & we lost $152.00 . No way could any one sleep there it was so hot,Guest review byRay
