Our accommodation was close to the town centre, we were able to walk around and find a nice cafe for lunch A little quieter than our last visit this was possibly due to the time of year Good location to stay if you are going to Hawkesbury Basketball StadiumGuest review byCatherineAustralia - 10.0
Quiet location with amazing scenery.
Quiet location with amazing scenery. The Wisemans Ferry Inn cooks an awesome steak and is full of history and local stories. The Wisemans Ferry Retreat is a wonderful place to stay for some R&R. A coffee on the deck at the Heritage Valley Cafe is a must do. Bring a camera, the sandstone cliffs along the Hawkesbury River are a sight worth remembering.Guest review byMelissaAustralia - 10.0
Great motel in an excellent location.
Great motel in an excellent location. Room was very comfortable. Staff were very welcoming. We plan to return to explore Brooklyn more, and will definitely stay here again. A 240v outlet to charge our EV overnight either here or somewhere else nearby would make it perfect!Guest review byDavidBAustralia - 10.0

It's a very out of the way part of Sydney, that seems quite under-visited. Great wineries, very scenic, lots of history. There's a lot to do and see here, and it's a great base for drives to other parts too (eg Windsor, Richmond, St Albans, Bilpin).Guest review byWalterAustralia - 10.0

The island is leafy and serene, great for a quick get away to unwind and just relax. It has a bowling club and a great coffee shop/corner store. I loved learning how the locals live on a car free island. We stayed with Karen in Shambhala. Her house was beautiful and she was a wonderful host! I highly recommend staying with her.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Loved the location,It was quiet, relaxing and a beautiful environment. Everything was clean and accessible.Staff were very polite and helpful. The local shop was closed and no explanation, so that was a bit disappointing as we were looking forward to trying there foodGuest review byTraceyAustralia - 6.0

We were only in the area for a wedding, so didn't have much time to explore. Whizzing through Windsor and Richmond the towns looked interesting, but Wilberforce where we stayed was small and not much there.Guest review byAngelaAustralia - 10.0
A wonderful town steeped in history and nostalgia.
A wonderful town steeped in history and nostalgia. The wiseman’s ferry pub is a gorgeous nearly 200 year old building. The sandstone building and well kept interiors takes you back to the days of old. The car ferry is a great way to cross the river! I could imagine the days when this was horse drawn by a team of Clydesdales! Del Rio is also a wonderful place to stay with beautiful surrounds and fun activities.Guest review byJoanneAustralia - 10.0
