Very simple and equipped with everything you need. I was not expecting such a large studio. I was expecting just a mere room. I’m a local who’s a/c broke and needed a quick stay until the a/c got fixed. Most lodging in Bonaire don’t accept booking for one night. I will book again in the future .

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It’s located right in the city, which made it very convenient to get around. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the place was spotlessly clean. Everything was comfortable and well taken care of. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Ocean Oasis was an outstanding place to stay. Our room was beautiful, with nice views. The complex boasts an extremely well-appointed kitchen (wonderful coffee / espresso machine), with individual refrigerator space and shelves so that you can make it your home during your stay. The grounds are beautiful, with an elegant pool, ample lounge chairs, and covered dining areas. Our hosts Kim and John were great sources of local information, and went out of their way to accommodate us with beach chairs, coolers, and arrangements for a late departure. Above all they were very friendly, and we enjoyed their company and local insights throughout our visit. And if you are a scuba diver, Kim is a dive instructor and can arrange for instruction and guided trips.

We stayed in the new villa next to the infinity pool with views of marina entry and beach with amazing daily sunsets. We loved the apartment and its modern minimalistic but comfortable design and layout. My son and I did PADI OPEN COURSE with Toucan Diving located on site with instructor Steve. He was patient, detailed, encouraging with great positive attitude. We started in the confined water (pool on site) and then moved to house reef 18 Palms. Steve took his time to trained us and get our certification, so we were prepared for our first boat dives in bigger group. Big thank you to Steve and rest of the team @ Toucan diving. They made our trip exceptional!

We loved everything about the Bamboo Boutique. It was beyond what we expected! The room was amazing and decorated beautifully. We loved all the "extras' all around the property. We especially like the private outdoor shower and patio area. It was truly a magical place to stay :) We will stay there again if/when we return to Bonaire!

After a place where I had stayed before for for half of the price of Ocean Breeze, it felt like luxury, where you have friendly staff, beach towels, luxurious bathroom with HOT water, and clean white sheets, it felt very good. Close to the airport.

Personally, I like discovering more of the country people culture and seeing more of the local areas. In this trip I needed peace and quiet, therefore what I did serve its purpose. I will see you next year hopefully.

There are so many dive sites, and if you need a "check dive"...

There are so many dive sites, and if you need a "check dive" plan to do that first. Then, you can spend at least a few days diving various locations after which you should plan 24 hours before flying. Plenty of excellent restaurants. If you want to visit the national park plan one full day to drive through the long loop. It's magnificent.

Lots of beautiful beaches (though they name every sliver so before going it seems more overwhelming than it is.) Glad I rented a truck the first week & just explored. (I was there a total of 15 days - spent 7 with a dive group.) If you want to go further than just very close to your accommodation (other than downtown), you need to rent a truck. And, there is so much to see I recommend doing it at least for the first part of your trip. (Taxis cost about half a day rental. Be sure to get full coverage if you plan to explore because sticker type bushes WILL scrape & you will not even realize it is happening. Also, people tailgate BAD here.) I enjoyed diving, snorkeling, going to see the various sites on a drive to the wind sailing area (which I want to do next time.), watching wind sailers, going to the Donkey Sanctuary as well as the dog / cat rescue & driving up to Rencon & the lake where the flamingos are protected. Salt Pier is also very interesting. (I am not much of a history buff until I visit but I enjoyed learning history here.)

I love the opportunity that you can freely swim in the sea...

I love the opportunity that you can freely swim in the sea in town. I went on a tour around the island and saw some great places. I visited Rincon twice and had dinner at a Creole restaurant. The goat meat is great. Yes it's easy to get around the town by feet. You can rent a car, if necessary use the GPS to drive around the island.
