The owner was very hospitable and gave us a detailed introduction to the surrounding attractions and food. The location is close to the sea, surrounded by sea views, restaurants, and some historical buildings, the bed in the room is quite comfortable and we had a deep sleep.

What an amazing place to stay in Powell River! The cottage was so clean and comfortable and we instantly felt at home. Sue and Don are incredibly kind and helpful hosts.

Studio One, as many others have noted, is very well equipped. Lots of pots and pans in a full galley-type kitchen. There is a full stove, a microwave and a decent size fridge. Very comfortable bed and pillows. It’s spacious for a studio and cool, probably the most important asset. Again as other reviewers have mentioned the shower is fabulous. Great location, close to Pebble Beach, Saltery Bay Park and Powell River, with its fabulous Historic Townsite; it’s certainly a beautiful area. Oh and the wifi was excellent. That’s important, as you can’t get service in some spots. Finally the hosts were very kind.
