Willian is absolutely the star of this place, he took care of us really well. He's super helpful, friendly, and attentive. He picked us up from the airport and also dropped us off, which was such a great help. The rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable. He even let me use his electric motorbike to ride around the countryside. It was such a pleasant surprise and we had the best time we didn't even expect to have during a flight layover. I really recommend this place, much better experience than with some of the much more expensive international hotels near the airport.

The streets are bustling at day but will be almost empty at night - but it always felt safe regardless of the time of day. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating, regularly checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. They were always available whenever we needed help and gave us a ton of great recommendations too! In a way, Arthur's Roof-Top felt like a bit of a HUB for tourists and expats coming to Chengdu. The apartment felt very spacious and clean and came equipped with all the amenities you'd expect. The somewhat rustic outside of the building definitely wasn't reflective of the cozy interior. Don't be surprised if the hosts ask you to pay via Alipay or WeChat - this is common practice in the PRC and in accordance with Booking's ToS. You're definitely gonna need those apps once you get to China! Also, you're gonna have to check-in at the local police station upon arrival. The whole process didn't take long and the hosts already had everything set up for us. The cops at the station seemed very friendly and even apologized for not knowing any English. All in all a great experience - I got nothing to complain about.

I was passing through China. I stayed the night in this wonderful place. A transfer met me at the airport and the next morning they took me back. It was free. The hotel was nice, the room had everything you needed. The receptionist was very kind and sweet. I definitely recommend it.

Situated along the Jinjiang River, Somerset Riverview Chengdu offers serviced apartments with excellent river view. It features a fully-equipped fitness room, lounge and rooftop garden with barbecue area. The view was amazing, the location very good, the bathroom was great. I didn't end up using the gym but I checked it out and it looked very complete.
