The place is very beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. All of the staff were lovely and friendly. My room was really comfortable - the bed was amazing. Stylish decor, beautiful garden. A sanctuary with easy walking distance to beach and restaurants/bars.

My stay in Riohacha was absolutely fantastic—an unforgettable experience that blended comfort, culture, and Caribbean charm. The staff was kind and helpful. Thanks Erickson, Nubia & team! The food was fantastic and served by the sea. The location - the beach is pristine and quiet. The room was pretty and very comfortable - AC, dessert decor, love the hammock out front. It is a very tranquil place.

    Absolutely everything. I won’t go into much detail right now, but everything about the hotel was simply delightful. Food, accommodations, location, staff, and even the atmosphere of the place. Who I believe to be the manager, even went as far to personally greet every guest and go out of his way to make sure everyone feels comfortable and accommodated. The two nights my family spent there was an extremely memorable experience, and it is safe to say that La Jarorá is one of, if not the best hotel/resort I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in.

    On first impression Palomino seemed very small without a...

    On first impression Palomino seemed very small without a great deal to offer. However once we had found a few bars and restaurants that we liked we were happy to go into Palomino most evenings. The nice thing about being in a smaller place is that you get to know people and everyone was very friendly. We were also assured on numerous occasions that it was a safe place to be and we certainly felt that was the case.

    This was our center of operations, from this Hotel we went to Palomino Beach to the south and after that we took a tour up to Cabo de la Vela. There are many good restaurants and although we did not get in the ocean water, the beach was clean. We just did not have time to go.

    There are two options here.

    There are two options here. They have a somewhat dated, but comfortable holiday home that sleeps 8+ above the restaurant (it has a small kitchen and a single bathroom). They also have a very small hotel with three rooms (I didn't stay in these). The listing was a bit confusing. I thought I was getting the holiday home but they planned to put me in a small room (so read the fine print carefully). The dining area is below the holiday home. A television in this area is often on, but you can probably turn it off or ask the staff to turn it off. You can hear the TV in the holiday home. Both the holiday home and hotel have a nice deck in front facing the ocean. Food was excellent, but rarely ready when they said. Dirt road to property but with very well packed sand (no need for 4X4 or even high clearance). From the property you can walk to Camarones or the entrance to the park (probably about 30-45 min to either). Beach is nice but empty of people. This is a quiet location with friendly, helpful people. There is no WiFi. Someone was always at the property when I was there. It seems to be a very safe and secure place.

    Hello

    Hello I was very disapointed about AITE resort.No light going back in the room in the dark rain.I fall down blooding because it was no sign going back to the bungalow.Very expensiv for the service I will never go again to this place. Beaches are very small I guess regarding the ocean .I love Colombia but was very diasapointed regarding this Hotel!!

    It's a small city with a nice beachwalk (malecon) The part closer to the beach is more nice. A typical Colombian city, nice to see & explore it, but nothing to return to. We also went to Mayapo in Manaure = PLAYA ISAASHI, but not worth the bumpy 45 min drive without any signs or internet coverage.

    Quiet chill vibe with great people. Nice little shops and coffee bars and restaurants. Uncrowded beach you can walk for a long long way. River to swim or float is super fun. Laid back quiet vibe but fun beach happy hours every night.

    I loved the Luna Nueva, where we stayed.

    I loved the Luna Nueva, where we stayed. I did not see much of Rioacha, we went to see family, who we hadn't seen in 40 years. I live in aruba, island with the most beautiful beaches so we were not very interred in any of that.
