The hotel is very new and comfortable, rooms are spacious, with a lot of wooden furniture and decorated with natural materials. There was water and cookies as a compliment from the place. The bathroom was also big and even had a heated bench which was quite relaxing after an afternoon at Christmas markets. The breakfast is at the restaurant in front which is a separate building, about 50 m away. There was almost every kind of food you could wish for for breakfast and the staff was very friendly. The whole place was built by a family of farmers so it is located on the outskirts of the village and you mostly see fields from your window. What was even more amazing to find out was that they also have quite a big shop with local products on the territory of the hotel. There were a lot of craft products from different producers using original recipes so of course we could not leave without buying some of those first. It is impressive what they managed to make out of a farm and we were very happy with our stay. Will definitely be coming back.

Loved everything about this hotel! The check-in staff (specially Aditya and Max) were very welcoming and looked after me through out my stay. The restaurant staff were very attentive and the food was just amazing. I had a good restful stay in the comfy room after a long hike with great views to the nature landscape.

The hotel was quite good, renovated recently - it is atmospheric and nice. Everybody is nice and friendly. On check out we were given apples and bottled water. Strong shower, good breakfast and dinner booked in advance is a combination that make it a perfect stay after a long road. Bonus: Tivoli radio box in the room.

we loved it. we stayed in the old part which was amazing, the best part of the hotel, very typical, with lots of historical details, dressed up in typical dresses, breakfat was great, rooms very spacuous and cosy. parking in site very convenient. the children park was great, with two little cars to ride, they loved it. the town was in the forest soo nice

    Everything was great and extremely convenient for the location, from free parking, to a very large variety breakfast, offering all sorts of delicious choices, for all tastes. In addition, enjoying you meal while sipping on your morning coffee view a garden view and listening to the birds singing, what else ? We had a comfortable room and direct passage to very nice, clean and modern thermal baths, that we enjoyed all our stays. My husband and I were in a high need of a relaxing long-weekend and this hotel met all our expectations. Not to forget about the nice staff (who by the way speaks very good English) and the very friendly night barman (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name) who made sure we were well served and enjoyed an evening drink in the coziness of the place. Tip: if you’re a beer lover, make sure to order a Freiburger beer (which is a local beer that’s very tasty).

    Wow, I cannot fully express how amazing our stay was for our family of 4 with two little ones smaller than 5. We don’t speak a word of German but the front desk staff was fluent in English which saved us. The rooms, view, and pool were amazing but the water pressure has us feeling like we’ve been missing out on life. I could uproot my life to live with that water pressure. Hotel was extremely clean, staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The town and scenery were gorgeous, even in late November. Hope this hotel gets the recognition it deserves because it’s the best we’ve ever stayed at!

    Employees are very friendly and helpful. Room cleaning was very good. The staff always tries to do their best. Room condition was very good, breakfast was good and sufficient. It is very close to the city center, very close to shopping centers, it is possible to stop by the hotel while touring the city center. 12 minutes walking distance from the central train station. There is a supermarket right next to it that is open until 22:00. Nearby, it is possible to find a restaurant open until late.

    The room I stayed was very spacious and well decorated. It was very comfortable, and all amenities were top notch. Breakfasts are exceptional and all food is sourced from local producers, which is a huge plus. I loved everything about the place. Its location, staff, food, rooms, everything.     A small town known for its thermal springs (Vita Classica baths and thermal clinics). Located not far from Freiburg and having good public transport connections, it allows visitng the area which is reach in sights and attractions, including beautiful nature for hiking. Perfect for a stay over a weekend or for a longer stay for thermal treatment.

    We were turned away by the hotel as were not vaccinated.

    We were turned away by the hotel as were not vaccinated. The receptionists said we should have looked up Google to find out if we could stay in that region of Germany.. I do believe that booking.com should have informed us. We had been driving for many hours from the Netherlands, I am 80 years old so was exhausted. Also the hotel should have told us before arrival. We carried on to Switzerland as the only option where we found a decent hotel. I am shocked to see that have since been charged the full amount by this hotel.

    Bad food and really bad service from the Reception and in the restaurant. Reception would not share information on relevant activities in the area, e.g. outdoor public swimbad 1 km from the hotel. We asked two persions in reception over two days and the refused to tell what was evident on Google map. And was a really nice public swim bath.

    The wooden edge of the beds are very uncomfortable, I kept hitting my legs when getting in and out of bed, perhaps the edges should be covered at least with a sheet. We managed to visit the old, medieval city centre of Freiburg, it is beautiful! The Munster Freiburg Cathedral dated back since 1200, is worth to visit.

    The town has lots going on, there is the Thermal Baths, a train station to go as far as Basel, Freiburg or Titisee. The town centre is pedestrianised so safe for children and there are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants.
