Very cozy and have a really nice vibe to this hotel. It's not the "5 Star" hotels vibe but rather casual, chill and relaxing vibes. There's pool tables, Darts, cozy couch for chats. The reception also doubles as a bar where drinks are served. The hotel is recently refurbished hence it's quite new feel to it.

We stayed one night. Nice and helpful personell and a nice clean room. Close to the harbor. We arrived late due to traffic and it was a bit hard to find a restaurant. Parking cost 10€ a night.

The only available room was just next to lift After 20m debate finally reception understood my need that I need just a sleep in a quiet room They upgraded room for free Really appreciated They could probably do as a favor without 20m debate finally reception Because of hotel cannot accommodate you for the current category they have to upgrade and apologize That is all But instead receptionist said that is not normal what you requested But overall they are very helpful and understandable I really liked my stay Thanks very much I ordered taxi took from reception took 3 m to arrive Breakfast was excellent no words very very delicious Room was so clean and nice

Definitely read up about the hidden gems in Bremen you don't want to miss! Look for the little mouse hidden on the cathedral wall and read about its story. Wander into the Schnoor quarter's narrow, crooked alleys. Find tiny half-timbered houses, cute shops, and perhaps the statue of Heini Holtenbeen the fisherman. This area has the oldest surviving residential buildings, some from the 15th–16th centuries, giving it a true medieval feel. Seven brothers, notorious for idling and avoiding work, left Bremen in disgrace. They traveled the world, secretly mastering crafts. Upon returning, they cleverly dug a massive ditch to redirect the Weser River during a flood, saving the city and building homes along it. This proved that behind apparent laziness hid ingenuity and progress. Spot their contrasting fountains (one as gluttonous idlers, one as heroes) in the artistic Böttcherstraße! Look for the Gluckhenne (Protective Hen), Heini Holtenbeen, the Eccentric Fisherman and find the iconic Bremen Town Musicians statue (read about it). Bremerhaven has an outstanding Museum about the migration of...

Bremerhaven has an outstanding Museum about the migration of thousands of people who left Germany and Europe in general to travel to the USA etc last century. Well worth a visit. There's also a shipping museum and a small museum about the Cog ship. Excellent.

It’s an ADORABLE little town.

It’s an ADORABLE little town. I visited in December, when the squares were filled with Christmas market stalls, which only added to the charm. There are plenty of green areas and lovely places to walk along the river. It’s a small, very walkable city. I highly recommend eating at Markthalle Acht, a food court offering a great variety of international and local food. The only downside was the frequent rain, but apparently that’s quite common in German cities.

Everything about this city is about seafaring, now and in the past. You have to go there to experience the multitude of attractions, no other Port in the world can match Bremerhaven in maritime related visitors attractions.

We spent two nights in Bremen, enough time to visit the romantic Christmas markets (both, in the city square and the Schlachte Zauber recommended!), the main exhibition at the Kunsthalle, and several clothing stores. We lunched at the Markthalle

We enjoyed walking around the harbour but we bought a boat...

We enjoyed walking around the harbour but we bought a boat trip and the address on the ticket was the office of the company not the departure so we missed the boat! Please be careful and see if you have the correct address. We visited the U boat submarine, the ticket is 4 euros and the kids enjoyed looking inside this historical boat.
