Wonderful, surprisingly location close to the highway. A little hystorical well preserved town give you the chance to go back to the medieval time, like in the fairytale. The hotel historical building has the main entrance in the main street but also a inneryard and a backyard with safe parking. The breakfast was great, with delicious traditional food. The room was spacious, very cosy, decorated in a traditional style but updated with a great smart TV. In the hotel guests are surprised by classic decorations, a little library and a well furnished and supplied kitchenette. The owner, Susanne, is a very charming lady, supportive, friendly, fany, very open towards tourists needs. Excellent communication immediately after the booking, we have got very good and detailed advices about the location access. It was a great pleasure to meet Susanne and the amazing location, we are looking forward to going back there!

Everything was as you would expect from an upmarket hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean and the staff did everything they could do to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was exceptional and there was everything you copuld want from a round of toast to a completely fresh and tasty full English breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the breakfast staff and they did everything with a smile on their face.

It was a perfect stay! Hotel has its own connection with Franken Therme and it's very convenient to go directly to spa from the hotel room wearing your bathrobe. Special thanks to the receptionist (unfortunately I didn't note his name). A perfect man doing his job with all his soul and attention to the clients. Definitely, the rest of the personal is also magnificent. Breakfast was ideal with a great variety of everything!

Beautiful setting, lovely people, especially enjoyed the perfectly chilled wine we could buy in house, a refreshing treat. Iphofen is an amazing little walled town with one or two extraordinary gates and we enjoyed taking a leafy walk around the walls. The icing on the cake was watching the wine being bottled in the courtyard over 2-3 days. Every care is taken to grow organically and have minimum impact on the environment.

Bad Windsheim is a charming town. It took us a bit of roaming to find the hotel but it was well worth it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They provide little surprises like chocolate Santas on the pillows. The room was huge and exceeded my expectations. Breakfast is extensive and delicious. The bar which also serves fare like pizza is great.

The staff was really lovely, they helped with every query and were understanding and polite. Parking is available in secure garages for 14 EUR , as well as free parking around the hotel area I did not experience the spa / pool area so can't comment on that The beds were super comfy, and clean. Lots of space.

The hotel is spread over many buildings, so far we have stayed in both the main building as another one a few doors away. Large apartments, good amenities in the shower, good beds. Very friendly staff and very good breakfast. Good location close to the highway. Sufficient parking, no EV charging.

Old town on top of ancient volcano, lovely town hall, archaeological dig site in town square, great half timbered buildings, great town small enough to wander. Interesting town but disappointing there is very little information in English. We are finding this in many of the smaller towns that are less visited by non German tourists.

The hosts were very warm and friendly. The room was spacious and very clean and smelled good. There was a bath, which was very nice since we have a baby. The breakfast was delicious and of good quality. The building itself and the surroundings are beautiful!

We stayed in Wiesenbronn as we had a wedding to go in...

We stayed in Wiesenbronn as we had a wedding to go in Castell. It's not really a place we'd have gravitated towards otherwise, but we loved the short time we had there. There's a small supermarket, and a couple of places to eat. We ate at Gasthaus zur Becka - I'd advise turning up early - we had to wait an hour for a table and we got there at about 6.30pm. I imagine that if we were there for longer, we'd have tried to find some hikes to go on. If we were to go there again, we'd try to hire a car so we can travel around the area. It

The hotel was fantastic but Prichsenstadt itself is a bit...

The hotel was fantastic but Prichsenstadt itself is a bit too quiet. It is ideal for a few days and is a very quaint town but apart from the fantastic restaurants and cafes there is very little to do in it and if you are looking for some excitement it is perhaps not the destination for you.

We lived in this town in the early 1990s and loved it then...we visit as often as possible. Getting around the town is no problem but you need some time to learn the layout of a nearly 800 year-old town. We ate at the Salsa Restaurant at Franken Therme and it was very good...on past visits we have eaten at Storchen Nest, Goldener Schwan, and others. The Therme make this a tourists town and all restaurants are very good.

The hotel is very convenient or should be very near the...

The hotel is very convenient or should be very near the motorway. It is clean, comfortable and quiet. However it is spoilt by the major works that are happening at the services. Although we were informed of this on booking we did not appreciate how extensive they were. It is not clear on where to check in. Says the petrol station but you then get directed to the shop next to the hotel. There is not parking near the hotel so you have to leave your car about 500m near the garage. This was ok until the next morning when we left at 7am and could not get our car out due to the volume of cars. Hotel is great but the works are a real pain.
