Hosts super friendly. We arrived at 11 pm and they waited beyong their checkin hourse and moreover offered us drinks on the house. I took that as a sign of hospitality. The room was super clean, confortable bed, big bathroom with a very relaxing shower. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. Parking available for free as well just in front of the building. We enjoyed very much our stay at this hotel.

I almost don't want to say how much I love this magical hotel because I don't want to have to book a room a year before I come next time. I want to keep it a secret. Last Saturday, I attended a friend's wedding in Erbach and stayed at the charming, family-run Hotel Zur Linde with my wife and two young daughters. The hotel, meticulously maintained by a delightful elderly couple and their son, provided a warm and homey atmosphere, exceptional service, and spacious, well-kept rooms. Their outstanding hospitality, including a free ride to the wedding hall and a delightful breakfast, made our stay unforgettable and deserving of a perfect 10-star rating.

Comfortable, modern hotel, with very helpful staff, located in a great setting on a small lake with a large park beyond, only about a 10 minute walk through the park to the Danube riverside pathway. The outside part of the restaurant, next to the lake, is very pleasant for dinner and breakfast Very dog friendly: when I arrived, there was a bowl of fresh water in the room for the dog, as well as a food dish and a note to tell me that they could supply dog food if I’d forgotten to bring any.  Free parking about a minute walk from the entrance.

Staff were super helpful, the food was amazing also had good beer. Breakfast was also great. Room was comfy and clean. Hotel is located near the high way (in a small town no busy roads) perfect for a stop over and if you are a cyclist there are several routes you can also enjoy in the area.

Ulm is a nice small city to stay for a day or two.

Ulm is a nice small city to stay for a day or two. A lot of the main sights are just a few minutes walk from one another. The Ulm Münster (considered as the second tallest church in the world) is just a few stops by tram (or a few minutes walk by foot) from the Hauptbahnhof.

The hotel had an underground car parking facility so we felt...

The hotel had an underground car parking facility so we felt our motorbike was safe and not left in front of the hotel. We had to have an evening meal from the supermarket Norma which was below the hotel. Which was very annoying as the pub we thought we were staying at turned out to be a Chinese restaurant that closes on Monday when we were there. We did not want Chinese food or take away piazza. We had travelled too far to get back on the bike to find another place to eat. We travelled down the A8 onto the A7, turned right onto the 10 then right again on the 2023 to get to this hotel or we would have had to pay 2 ULEZ fees to get there as both ULM and New Ulm have fees.

Illertissen was just an overnight on the way to somewhere else for us, so we didn't notice anything much about it. I do know that we had to drive about 20 mins along the motorway to find somewhere decent to eat dinner tho!

Lovely town with great park and castle. Not your typical tourist town, but surroundings offer great things. Large town nearby and lots of outdoor activities in the area. Birth town of the Hollywood founder (look it up).

Nothing to see. No shops and very few restaurants. There is a McDonalds on the main highway just outside the town which was our only option for dinner. I would recommend giving Dornstadt a miss. Not the usual standard of German town.

We were there on a Sunday and there are no shops open in the town. My husband wasn't feeling great and there were no pharmacies nearby. There were also only a couple of choices for restaurants that were open for dinner. While the Hotel Restaurant Austüble has a dinner option, the menu wasn't something we were interested in. We liked the options at the Brasserie Adler, Thalfingen better. A bowl of soup was only $5euros and was plenty for a guy with an upset stomach! Service was great, too.

Nice typically German village, very well manicured. Good for cycling. I ate at the hotel restaurant, very busy place. Food was ok, although main course seemed a little cold , I had schnitzel with curly potato, chips would have been better. Should have tried the local specialty noodles with goulash.

A brilliant small city with a great friendly atmosphere. We visited Munich, Ulm, Augsburg and Salzburg and Ulm was our favourite! The Minster is stunning, the tower climb exhilarating and the fish quarter delightful!

very close to Ulm which we wanted to see the Munster -...

very close to Ulm which we wanted to see the Munster - tallest church in the world and the Christmas market. GREAT :) Breakfast was at the hotel and we ate later at the Christmas markets. They also had a teapot I was able to have in the room.

Very beautiful, unfotgetful Ulmer Münster, old city houses...

Very beautiful, unfotgetful Ulmer Münster, old city houses on the Blau, city library and many other attractions... I must not forget Einstein birth place - an interesting monument in the centre reminding his birth house which no longer exists.
