The receptionist was lovely and friendly. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a bigger room, which was lovely (the downside to that was that our view also changed from overlooking nature to overlooking the parking lot and adjacent buildings). Free parking on site. The room itself was clean (apart from the overwhelming stale cigarette smoke, which should've been dealt with before moving someone into the room). Pet friendly! Comfy bed.

We had a family room, so it was big enough. The hotel is in a good location, quiet but not far from the center. The bathroom has a radiator that can be turned on even in summer, which is a plus for a hotel with a pool and spa. The spa area is large, with various pools, including ones suitable for children. Lots of saunas. A mud mask is available free of charge. Free parking.
