Cal Rei was an unexpected delight.....very nicely designed and well furnished. Calm, soothing and with a great sense of space. The bedding, linens and towels were premium quality. We arrived after a long day's walking the Chemin des Bons Hommes. Caesar waited for us to arrive which was much appreciated. Visitors should note that it is on the outskirts of Bellver, maybe an easy 10-15 minute walk, which we completed.

Excellent breakfast, beautiful location, amazing facilities (what other rural inn like this has a gym?) and super nice people running the place. Owner doesn't speak English but this was actually a plus for me, as I'm learning Spanish and most other people just switch over to English because it's easier. This was good practice.

Bellver de Cerdanya is a beautiful village right at the heart of the Pyrenees! It is definitely a place you should stay and/or visit. For environmental reasons we came from the UK via train and it was perfectly located. 1. London > Paris 2. Paris > Latour De Carol 3. Latour De Carol > Puigcerda 4. Taxi: Puigcerda > Bellver de Cerdanya

La Molina is a lovely small Alpine resort.

La Molina is a lovely small Alpine resort. Busier at the weekends with Catalan skiers. Lovely family atmosphere, probably not a great Apres Ski scene, but that was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children (8 & 5)

Not a lot in Bourg Madam - not even a supermarket- have to travel to Ur or Puigcerda. Only a pizza takeaway and the cafe/cafeteria under apartments open at night. It however is an ideal location and short walk (10mins)into Puigcerda which has everything you need - cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets

Soriguerola is a small grouping of premium holiday homes...

Soriguerola is a small grouping of premium holiday homes surrounded by farms, golf courses and an aerodrome. It's a very quiet location only 3 minute drive from Alp, in the valley of Cerdanya. There's a very picturesque stream running through it and there are snow-peaked mountains in every direction. The mountain of Masella is home to two ski resorts which are great and much more affordable than the French alps.

Easy access from France, we drove, it my son arrived by train without any difficulties. Bourg-Madame has everything you need, a large supermarket just around the corner from the apartment. Able to walk into Puigcerda which was beautiful, especially at night.

It's a small enclave in the middle of the Cerdanya valley.

It's a small enclave in the middle of the Cerdanya valley. It's an unusual mixture of rich holiday properties, golf courses and farm land. Above all it's only a 5 min drive to Alp or Puigcerda, and the Masella and Molina ski resorts. If you like hiking or skiing this is a great place to go. Also... the valley boasts of a pretty large aerodrome, so you can take hot air balloon rides or book a flight on a glider.

There is very little in Bourg Madam especially in the evening. For us it's the close proximity to Puigcerda - 15mins walk -where there are many cafes, bars, shops and restaurants open all day and the evening, and a beautiful lake. Accommodation in Bourg Madam is cheaper than Puigcerda.
