I originally booked a different hotel, but after reading reviews I decided to change to Copaiba and I have no regrets. The room was modern, clean, and the staff was very nice. I really enjoyed the long brunch/breakfast. The location is close to the beach and various restaurants. The area is very German, so just be prepared for that (I personally don't care and it still surprised me).

excellent buffet breakfast with signature iberico ham daily and assorted pastries and hot food. the hotel is located near city center as well. we used the bike rental service provided by the hotel - bikes are with mutiple gears so not too bad. room is spacious and the hotel has a small swimming pool together with saunas which are all pretty nice! staff is great - we got many good recommendations from patricia, really appreciate her help !! also there are welcome drinks in the lounge - another thing we really like!

Location: You can easily walk to Palma beach in just 5 minutes. The beach is absolutely stunning with its turquoise color and soft sand — it truly amazed us. You can rent two sunbeds and an umbrella for €18. The hotel is less than a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport. Instead, I suggest walking 10 minutes to the Mercadona market — it has a wide selection and reasonable prices. Since we were traveling with our 18-month-old baby, we couldn’t join the nightlife, but there are plenty of places to party near the hotel. Room: The room was absolutely beautiful. It was very spacious and the furniture looked new. I also watched how thoroughly they cleaned a room after a guest checked out, and our room was cleaned nicely every day. We were right near the party places but sound isolation was good enough for blocking them. Food: Dinner had great variety overall. For a buffet, it was about as good as it gets. I wasn’t expecting 10/10 food from a buffet, but I’d rate it around 7–8. Breakfast had slightly less variety, but it wasn’t a problem for us. For families with children: This hotel isn’t fully tailored for children, but there were still enough activities to satisfy us. For example, there’s a playroom you can take your child to at any time of day. Even though our baby is quite young, the staff at the mini-disco in the evenings made every effort to ensure he had fun — they played and danced with him. There’s also a small children’s pool and a section of the large pool that’s about 40 cm deep, where our son had a great time. Staff: The hotel staff were truly friendly and cheerful. They always smiled at our son and tried to play with him. Everyone was kind and welcoming throughout our stay.

I’m normally not one to write reviews but Universal Hotel Aquamarin has proved they are well worth this five star review. Firstly, from the second you arrive in the door you are greeted with bright smiles, enthusiastic staff and a glass of champagne. They ask about any need you may require during your time there and they cater to it. It has been a while since I’ve experienced a group of staff who are so considerate and remember even the little things about every guest. For example I let them know I had fish for dinner one night and the next night I had dinner at the hotel restaurant they remembered my dinner choice from the night before. They also remembered I smoked and each time they would bring me an ashtray before I even knew I needed one. Also little details like saying and remembering your name whilst serving you. As a solo traveler it was nice to know I was seen and not overlooked by larger families and groups. The breakfast and dinner was phenomenal and I have to give a special shout out to my friend Sergio who made my stay very comfortable. There is a wide variety to choose from for breakfast also and the chef also prepares more breakfast options. They have great choices from fish, meat and vegetarian on their menu also. The most impeccable part of my stay here was the view. I felt compelled to gatekeep this location but it is too beautiful not to share with others. Tanning on the sun beds was my favourite part of the stay and you are so close to the water you can dip in and out for a swim easily. I also tried out the spa which was amazing and eased my muscle and back pain which I had been suffering with for a while. I would recommend booking in advance as they tend to be fully booked and they were fully booked during my stay here also. As you can tell by my review I really love this hotel and cannot wait to return later in the year. 10/10 spot.

A firm favorite among sun-seekers, Majorca (or Mallorca) is the largest Balearic Island. Palma, the enchanting capital, has a grand cathedral overlooking the harbor, a 14th-century castle and Arab baths, to name just a few highlights. Nearby is Palma Nova, home to lots of Majorca hotels on the beach within easy reach of the fantastic nightlife in Magaluf. Further along are calmer Santa Ponsa and Port d’Andratx. In the opposite direction, S’Arenal has a fantastic, palm-lined beach and quick airport shuttle rides. On the north side of the island, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Serra de Tramuntana range features amazing mountain lakes. A trip to its highest peak, Puig Major, will provide breathtaking views. Down below is Port de Soller, a lovely town with some excellent Majorca hotels for families. Other popular family resorts include Alcudia with its long sandy beach, and neighboring Port de Pollenca. Ruins of the Roman town of Pollentia are nearby.     Really close to the beach, had a nice swimming pool, with freezing water (quite nice after a few minutes in). Room was good, and breakfast was also really good. Large selection of food available. And really close to main streets in the area. Who wants to have a quiet location to spend some nice time under the sun, take some nice walks by the sea shore and enjoy a nice view and a clean water, this is the place to be.

    A beautiful city, a must to visit. Wonderful architecture and interesting shops. A lovely department store. The cathedral is magnificent. We had a lovely day trip into the mountains. We also visited the Miro gallery and museum. There are frequent buses and taxis are quite cheap. Plenty of nice restaurants.

The only major drawback is that the hotel feels more like a “mini Germany,” since it’s a very popular holiday spot for German travelers.     Magaluf is a great destination for those who enjoy nightlife and clubbing – there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from, offering something for everyone. You'll also find large supermarkets and a wide variety of good restaurants. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic getaway, as it's more lively and party-oriented. It’s a convenient base for exploring the southern part of Mallorca and is close to Palma. Renting a car on the island is easy and can be done at affordable prices.

    Typical Spanish tourist town. Plenty of good bars and restaurants, some with live music. Would of like it to be a bit more boutique'y and a little less Spanish/British bucket and spade. So not a lot to see, unless you like these very typical Spanish beach resorts. But overall good for a short break.

    It really depends what you want from your vacation.

    It really depends what you want from your vacation. I would stay again, but now I know what to expect. It doesn’t have that “local” feel, it is much more touristic. But it’s a good and affordable base to explore other areas of Mallorca. I would definitely recommend for families and also for people who enjoy night live. If you’re not too fussed by the surroundings and just want an area to sleep, but venture to other places, then this is also definitely a good area

    The Cala d’Or resort is a lovely resort…. It has lovely bars and restaurants… the marina is incredible with amazing views from the terrace of restaurants.. we had incredible meals for both lunch and dinner and really enjoyed our wine… overall a wonderful short break.

    I enjoyed Cala Millor, it’s a pleasant area, but if your goal is to explore the island and visit other places, I would recommend staying somewhere more central. Cala Millor is quite far from most of the main attractions, including other beautiful beaches, which makes travelling around tiring and time-consuming.
