The rooms, each with a private bathroom, are immaculately clean and so tastefully designed, with attention given to even the smallest details. The sisters also operate a restaurant just a short walk from the Inn, beautifully decorated in authentic Ethiopian style. The menu is extensive, the food fresh and delicious, and the prices very reasonable. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the genuine warmth and hospitality. From the owners and manager to the guard at the gate, everyone is welcoming and eager to help. They are always ready to arrange local guides, tours, or taxis around Gonder and to and from the airport. The Inn is also conveniently located near the city’s major attractions, making it an excellent base for sightseeing. This is the kind of hotel that is difficult to leave. It feels less like staying in a business establishment and more like being among friends—far removed from the impersonal or profit-driven atmosphere some other hotels project. Whether you want to explore, relax, catch up on work, or simply unwind, this is the perfect setting. Four Sisters Inn is without question a must-stay for anyone visiting Gonder.

I came from Mumbai to Addis Ababa, then took a bus from Addis to Bahir Dar. This hostel was a gem with the value you pay. I asked them to buy the return bus ticket, pick up to the bus station in the early morning and they happily did. The best part was they helped me get an excellent tour package of the Lake Tana and the Blue Niles Waterfall, with very good price for one day, as I was tight with my schedule. The tour went very well with excellent and safe vehicles (car and boat), great guides, and all important places. The room I got has a queen size bed, shower and toilet attached, with good privacy and cleanliness. I stayed two nights and will do it again when I have a chance.Please support this property as well as the Bahir Dar. They are waiting and very happy to serve you to the best of their abilities.
