I stayed 3 nights at Best Western Plus Pearl Addis and it was excellent value for money. The staff are extremely responsive and helpful; every request was handled quickly and with a smile. Breakfast was a highlight, with a nice variety of Ethiopian, Indian, and European dishes plus plenty of fresh items each morning. Overall, a great stay and I would happily return.

Utmost privacy and calm environment. Free laundry service. Friendly staff who always ask you if the meal is delicious. The airport Shuttle wasn't available when I was leaving but they gave me 200 ETB and called a taxi 🚕 to get me to the airport. This was an excellent gesture.

The staff was AMAZING, Sisay and Fitsum the bellman were extremely helpful for me working with charity and sponsoring children to go to school and with hospital rides and stuff I honestly can't say enough about them and their time serving. Addis the front desk manager is an angel and always a delight to see when we wake up in the morning or needed ANY service at all she was ALWAYS right at our fingertips. Service is the top quality of this location. The room was always clean and had the most comfortable bed possible. Hot water and wifi were also working well every day and we stayed for a month so that is saying a lot in Addis Ababa. We have stayed at almost every single hotel in Addis Ababa over the past few years and have chosen this one for many reasons. We will definitely be back. God bless this absolutely blessed hotel. From the security to the hospitality A1 top shelf hotel. Save your money from staying at the Hilton Sheraton or Hyatt and stay here. Trust me you'll he grateful 🙏

Hotel Lobelia in Addis Ababa is the real place to start a travel in Ethiopia. The hotel staff is very lovely and provides you a very warm welcome. After a little rest, my travel mate and me started to think about our possibilities of doings for the coming 12 days. Then we just met Abay, a very experienced and friendly tour guide, and we had fixed our journey in minutes only. He proposed us a very reasonable tour around this beautiful country. Thanks to everyone of Lobelia and especially a big thank to our friends Abay and Mulu for the organization and as well their company in our incredible trip.

I have been thoroughly impressed with it so far.

I have been thoroughly impressed with it so far. Located a little southwest of Addis Ababa, the area is incredibly safe and well-maintained. The transportation is also convenient, with easy access to public transit and major roads. Overall, I'm very happy with my decision to stay here during my visit and would highly recommend this neighbourhood to others.

This is best visited with a guide . Our guide took us to Signum Vitae ... a non-governmental organization dedicated to rehabilitating and improving the lives of disabled people . It is wonderful to see how they make eye-glasses in the facility they have . We also visited the Sabahar fabric workshop ... in a great , peaceful location with lots of trees and flowers . They make [ and sell ] gorgeous things from hand-woven and hand-dyed materials. We visited " Lucy " in the National Museum , and saw the palatial residence of Ethiopia's former emperor Heile Selassie in the Ethnological Museum . The coffee in Ethiopia is excellent !

Be prepared for lots of holes in the sidewalks , and people begging/soliciting . We always felt slightly uneasy when going for a walk , and the many construction sites have you walking in the street with seemingly inconsiderate drivers . We spent more time in the hotel because walking around wasn't enjoyable .
