- From $167.83 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 2,239 reviewsWe loved our ocean facing room. Our second room was okay but across the building and down the hall. I was hoping to be closer to our second room (our kids are 8 and 13). We had to get 2 rooms because they didn’t have quads available. For Europe, the rooms were a good size. We were on the 6th floor and had a balcony off each room (please note they are lovely, but you can’t fit a chair on them like many balconies in Europe). Coffee was good and location is awesome. On the beach (you have to cross one road and you’re on the boardwalk). Every restaurant and cafe is walking s Distance and the Bac is just steps away. Beds were very comfortable. The older, stylish lady was lovely at every interaction at reception. She was very happy and helpful.Guest review byKyleUnited States
- From $235.38 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 723 reviewsWe stayed here for 5 days four nights. It was a great location. We could walk for ice cream or dinner everyday and every night. I went to the beach often and found seaglass and really pretty stones. We had a couple massages that were great. We enjoyed the upstairs patio where we could lay out and read our books. The bartenders are very friendly and enjoyed having a drink every night.Guest review byamandaUnited States

The Abbeys are stunning, the town is flat so easy to walk around. There are regular markets, the Sunday one we went to was quite big with lots of fresh food. The harbour is a nice spot with a line of bars and restaurants nearby, my favourite being an Irish bar (O'Donnells) for a well kept pint (or three) of Guinness!Guest review byRaymondUnited Kingdom - 10.0

There are some excellent restaurants and art galleries - and the 'Petit Train' is well worth the 8 euros for the round trip. The Saturday market is excellent - a wide range of local produce, ciders and calvados. An historic town with many interesting museums and access to gardens and beaches.Guest review bySusanUnited Kingdom - 6.0

I was in Deauville for the Bridge Festival, so chose the location for that reason. However, I would say that some of the restaurants in Deauville are not great value or quality and prefer to eat in Trouville where there is better choice and value in my opinion. It is all down to personal taste, obviously many wealthy Parisians and foreign visitors like to be in Deauville, for the beach and top hotels. Relative to Trouville it is quite smart, but Trouville is more lively and overall more interesting. Next time, I will stay in Trouville although it is more of a walk to the casino.Guest review byChrisUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A charming small town, brimming with history and interest.
A charming small town, brimming with history and interest. A good base for days out and excellent restaurants for dinner - but be sure to book ahead in August as very busy. A highlight was catching the Saturday night light show at the cathedral, on during the summer months.Guest review byLucyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Ouistreham is a ferry port - it is a small town, but a useful starting point for visiting attractions in the surrounding area. The Normandy landings beaches and sites that have associations with William the Conqueror are all easily reached from here. There are good fish restaurants in Ouistreham itself and in nearby coastal villages.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

This is a small early twentieth century town with a magnificent beach and is a super base to explore the area from. There is so much history just a short drive away and the city of Deauville can be reached extremely easily along the coast road. Walking and cycling opportunities are excellent too. The local restaurants are very good - we particularly enjoyed eating at Le Mermoz. The fish market in Trouville was also amazing.Guest review byStephenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The town is not large but is quite beautiful if you enjoy a traditional fishing port with nice restaurants, bars and shops. O'Plan B restaurant owned by our hotel host is particularly good. Within reasonable distance are some of the finest military museums from the 2nd WW.Guest review byChristopherUnited Kingdom
