We particularly enjoyed the bar service sitting in the shade under the trees, perfect for winding down after a long drive. Amazingly comfortable beds and attentive staff. We liked it so much we booked it again for our return journey.

Receptionist was very good and explained everything very clearly.
Breakfast was very good, and included in the price.
Parking was quirky, below the hotel accessed from a rear street, but very spacious.

This hotel is rated 3 stars but should be rated 5. The staff, room, and bed are brilliant. Both the dinner at the restaurant and breakfast are mouth watering. The garden area is very peaceful. I wish the day and the pool water was warmer because the pool is a highlight. For cyclists there is safe and secure area for your bikes. I would recommend a stay here for a couple of days.

Lovely domaine with lots of activities to do on site. Pool, golf, spa etc. Lovely restaurant, very good quality and good value. Great breakfast. The staff everywhere were super nice, caring and friendly. Even had fans in the rooms, which was good in summer.

The rooms were large and bright. The bed was comfy . The pool was lovely. One thing I would have liked was another couple of pillows. One was not enough, and there was no spare in the room.

We didn’t explore much outside the Futuroscope, as we spent three full days in the park. However, the town is easy to get around, and having a large Auchan supermarket right next to the park is very practical for visitors.

The hotel was situated in a busy, built up area, with a big Auchan Supermarket within a shopping mall and lots of fast food places in the strip. The hotel is next to a bar / pub that also did street food, so that was convenient. We have two small dogs, but we were given a second floor room as they had a coach party stating there. Because of the rain, the stairs were slippy and we had to keep going up and down the stairs to take the dogs to the toilet

The town has a few historic buildings and an impressive bridge over the Vienne but is very run-down. There are many closed shops and restaurant. When we visited there was only one restaurant open which served crêpes and burgers. The one traditional French restaurant where we’d hoped to eat was closed.

The town is nice and sleepy Has main facilities. We drove around to find a bar for a glass of wine but couldn’t find anywhere. It is however about 8 mins drive from major town. Didn’t stay long enough to get to know it.

When I rang to reserve a table for our evening meal the restaurant was fully booked. However reception suggested a restaurant nearby, Bateau Ivre. Very helpful!

Lovely town situated by the river Vienne. A few good restaurants and bars. There is a market on a Friday. There are three food stores and for the DIY enthusiasts and builders there is a decent Bricomarche for all your needs.

We went for the track and spent an afternoon on the Lac where they have water sports and a nice little snack on the edge.
For food it is a bit tricky during our time there 22-24/08/23 Not much is open there was one restaurant open doing pizza (eat in or takeaway) steak and chips etc not a big menu but at least you can eat something not too for from the track.

Sadly just a one night stay en route.

The hotel was located on Futuroscope with Futuroscope pricing for what was a rather basic hotel. If you are looking for a good value overnight stop-over of reasonable quality during a long journey, you might well be a little disappointed and would do well to avoid the Futuroscope resort area to get better value.
