The place is situated on a river with waterfalls. That was our view. Magical. The accommodation was large and beds had the best linens and were super comfortable. We walked the property all the way down to the ocean and it was the best hike. We went along the river and through fields with sheep and it was amazing. The dinner and breakfast was delicious and the lunch they packed for us last minute for the train was made with love and delicious. Wonderful stay.

Ulbster Arms is a very special hotel. On arrival, we sat out in the beer garden (on a beautiful warm Scotland day) and enjoyed a wonderful dinner and plentiful breakfast. Our room was very large, beautifully decorated and we had a comfortable, large bed. Staff were so friendly, especially the young girls serving in the restaurant.

Nice older style hotel, great location, courteous and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service.

Very close to Thurso Train Station, this hotel has free Wi-Fi, free public parking and comfortable rooms with Freeview TV. Station Hotel serves fine Scottish meat cooked in a traditional style.

Excellent Hotel and Staff, facilities were very good and staff were lovely and very accommodating. I really enjoyed the full Scottish in the morning.

the staff were fantastic especially Andy when we arrived went above and beyond for us Breakfast was the best we had out of 3 hotels we stayed at nothing was to much trouble for the staff
