Situated in Portpatrick, on a seafront location,The Harbour House Sea front Hotel has a beer garden, coffee and cocktail lounge, and free WiFi in all rooms. The location was amazing - right on the seafront. Our room had a beautiful view of the bay so that even if the weather was poor we would still have the experience. Food was wonderful and the staff and locals were so friendly to us and our doggie. Lovely sitooterie outside the hotel. We will be back!

Situated in town centre of Stranraer, The Royal Hotel features a beer garden and bar. Stranraer train station is a 10-minute walk away and the Stena and P&O ports are located nearby. The owners were so very welcoming and helpful. Fab location and fab hotel. Very highly recommend.

Located in Portpatrick and with Portpatrick Beach reachable within a few steps, Crown hotel provides a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. This is our second visit here. The staff is wonderfully accommodating, the room was very comfortable, the location couldn’t be better, and the food was excellent.

The view and coastline were beautiful. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The dinner was excellent, and although I was up out and too early to experience the breakfast, they did provide a small in room and take away service. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Set in private gardens above Portpatrick, Fernhill Hotel boasts open views over the village, harbour and Irish Sea. Lovely hotel have stayed there a few times. No problem with parking, only 30 minutes from ferry terminal. Dog friendly. The restaurant food is very good for evening meal and breakfast.

With picturesque views across Loch Ryan, this hotel is situated in south-west Scotland, close to the ferry ports to Ireland. It has 2 spacious bars, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Really exceptional customer service from the owner and team. Everyone was very helpful to us as we were navigating travel and transportation in a new country AND on a holiday. The room was very nice, super clean, and had everything we needed. We were served a lovely breakfast and having the restaurant as an option was very helpful.

Featuring its own curling ice rink and an indoor pool, North West Castle Hotel is located opposite Stranraer harbour, which serves as the main ferry port between Scotland and Ireland. Beautiful room in a beautiful building. The swimming pool was great, even picked up a fee gifts from the shop.
