The room was very clean, updated and comfortable, with a gorgeous view of Saints Peter and Paul monastery atop its mountain. There's a sort of carved out parking area in front of the hotel for guests, which is a big step better than what counts as "free parking" for most Georgian hotels. Breakfast was varied and delicious, including a fairly legit cappuccino. I paid a bit extra for a room with air conditioning, and it was well worth the extra expense, as the weather's guite hot in the area these days.

Soviet style accommodation. I enjoyed the experience, which was surprisingly not bad. The location is perfect near restaurants, and the SIoni cathedral. We reserved their best suite, which was huge and roomy. Very nice view of the city from the veranda.
