It's a nice place very close to the port, only 100m away but a little uphill (FYI if you carry heavy stuff)
++ We got a very nice room for cheap money with a sea view
++ Beds were large
++ Property was quiet
++ Aegiali within a few minutes, with cheap cappucino freddo, pharmac, shops etc.
++ Very gentle owners who permitted us to stay until 1230 in that specific cirucmstance

5 mins walk from port, close to plenty of car hire, grocery shops and tavernas, and a small lovely beach within 1 min walk.
Owner met us at the entrance and his assistant carried our luggage up to the apartment which was on the top floor, so a LOT of steps (79 to our apartment). super helpful with eating and sightseeing tips for Amorgos and very kindly left us water, raki and coffee in the room to get us started.
Apartment recently renovated to a good standard. Bathroom very nice with a good shower. Crockery, glasses and cutlery for 2, and a coffee machine, so you can bring takeaway food back or prepare uncooked breakfasts etc. Beautifully clean - apartment cleaned with fresh towels daily.
Wonderfully welcoming and well appointed apartment - highly recommended but be aware there are a lot of steps…..the better the view, the more steps you’ll have.

The location was truly exceptional. Our studio was very artistically furnished and was a converted bakery. It had an amazing terrace with sensational views. The bed was really comfortable, the kitchen well equipped (salt, oil etc..) we we able to cook a decent meal in it. The bathroom was fantastic. Probably the best place we’ve stayed in during our trip of the Greek islands. Theo kindly picked us up and took us back to the ferry. And the cats are well cared for, friendly and well behaved.

We had a fantastic stay at Vorina Ktismata. The location was great just a short walk in to Chora which was so beautiful. The views are amazing and it was so peaceful and quiet. Lots of choices for breakfast with some local organic products which was lovely. Nikos and his wife really went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. I would 💯 % recommend this hotel when visiting Amorgos.

Fantastic place to stay! We rented a nice little house with a beautiful quiet private garden. Chistos picked us up at the boat and gave recommendations on the best restaurants and beaches. We also rented a car from him with very flexible times. A fantastic stay with excellent service that is highly recommended.

Service, staff, location, lovely room and delicious breakfast. So relaxing and sitting having cocktails by the pool with live music from our very attentive barman . What a treat. Wished I could have stayed longer.

It’s close to the most beautuful street in the town, it tooks five minutes to restaurants and the beach. very comfortable beds. Nice water pressure in a shower.

Great little port town, with some lovely tavernas and cafes,...
Great little port town, with some lovely tavernas and cafes, as well as a few shops and essentials like bakery, bank etc. Beach is ok, long stretch and sandy and best of all, not full of beach clubs or overly priced sunloungers. Parking is free thoughout and there is boat taxi service offered to other more remote beaches.

A must visit Island, Amorgos. Not too many tourists.
A must visit Island, Amorgos. Not too many tourists. Plenty of walks if you enjoy walking. A must visit is the Monastery. Use the local bus. The buses only started operating on the 8th May. Car hire is available. Swimming beaches are clean and not crowded.

Great little town , quiet busy during this period and made getting into restaurants difficult , but definitely worth visiting if your looking for an authentic experience without the crowds of more popular islands , bus service around the island was reasonably priced and frequent service during the peak season

Walking distance to the port, restaurants, car rental, and a beach. There is a bus that runs sparingly around the island. However, if you want to be adventurous and find historical sites, amazing little towns and hit up the remote nude beaches, you will need a car. In October I paid €60 cash to rent a car for three days. No deposit, no insurance… just a hand shake. It felt like stepping back in time.

Great beach, restaurants and bars.
Great beach, restaurants and bars. Would recommend bus up to Lagada and a lovely walk back down the track to the port, half hour walk. Another excellent meal at Loukaki Kassana, great chef, restaurant full as usual. Currently no bus back to port but it’s an easy walk down the path. Best to split Amorgos stays between Aegiali and Katapolo as both great places to stay.

EXCELLENT value for money.
EXCELLENT value for money. Host so caring and intetested in his guests. The corner restaurant was very good for an evening meal and the gyros place was great value for money..Bakeries wonderful.You must visit Chora but check where the bus stops to return to port.
