Most meals are served in a traditionally styled taverna, but with sophistication. I loved having my very delicious breakfasts sitting just 2 meters from the water. The rooms are beautifully decorated with very comfy beds, and cleaned every day. The staff are just perfect, very professional, kind and always willing to help in every way. The coffee and service are perfect. I can’t wait to go back.

The location is perfect - very close to the port, yet in a quiet area. We managed to drag our luggage there ourselves - it was easier downhill when we left:).

If you like quality this is the place you are looking for! The location is very good, it’s near the port but a bit inside so it creates a sense of serenity surrounded by beautiful architecture and nature . We had a spacious room which gives breathtaking view over part of the island. Nikos and Mrs Jenny were very nice, helpful and professional! We were impressed of their high level of professional behaviour and care they showed not only to us but to all of their guests. The breakfast was amazing and everyday we had something different to taste and always explained in detailed by Mrs Jenny. Lastly, the hotel’s design is amazing.

Outstanding. The apartment is just fantastic. It is spotlessly clean , has everything you need for a small hot plate , micro wave , kettle and coffee maker. The position is just perfect and the view is fabulous. It’s a stones throw away from the port area and near restaurants and all local amenities. The owner is brilliant very friendly and accommodating I had a fantastic stay ( extended due to the catamaran cancellations ) it’s so worth staying here if you get a chance. Hydra is perfect.

The hotel was super beautiful, the staff was always with a smile on their face and kindly available to help us. The breakfast I super good!
The location is amazing because you don’t have stairs to arrive and is super near of the port but not in the middle so is really quiet to rest!
If I visit again Hidra surely I’ll be back in this hotel!

If you are thinking to book it or not I'm telling you that It's 100% worth it!! People were so nice, helpfull, the room was just amazing in white colour with blue details. Unfortunately I stayed only a night. It's soooo close to everything, beach, bars, restaurants. The entrance of the property is giving you the idea of living in a fairytale.

We loved the renovation of this original mansion in Hydra. Our room was very nice with lovely views of the village.
Our stay was made even more comfortable and enjoyable by Nefele on front desk who was really personable and professional. Nefele made us feel special.
Overall a great stay in Hydra and highly recommend.

Very stylish interiors, with big taste and great design.
Quiet place next to port and restaurants, shops. Owner is fantastic, helpfull and very friendly.

This is a beautiful spot on my favorite Greek island. I loved how quiet it was. All I could hear were the birds, roosters, donkeys, goats and doves. The bed was cosy. There were so many stars at night! I look forward to returning soon as it has become my favorite place to stay.

Everything about this hotel was perfect! From Check in to Breakfast, to our GORGEOUS room. Yiannis was an excellent host, and all the staff we encountered were lovely. There's even a cute Tortoise in the garden! Would stay here again without question. 10/10

Hotel has very good location, it has old fashioned but very lovely homey athmosphere, the hosts are very friendly and helpful. I would love to go there back someday. it has very lovely terace with excellent viwe to the island.

We loved Hydra,from the minute we got off the ferry and...
We loved Hydra,from the minute we got off the ferry and wended our way through the cobbled streets to Hydra Suites. To be met by Nina, waving enthusiastically at us. Our accomodation was great, part of an old house, with stone floors and walls but fitted out of modern plumbing and lamps etc.We had our own patio area , small but beautifully formed kitchen area and only a couple of minutes walk to the nearest restaurant serving superb fish

Mandraki was a hidden gem of a place, only a 20-minute walk along the coast from Hydra Town, but away from all the hustle and bustle and with its own little beach and taverna - everything you could possibly need for a deeply relaxing holiday.

Hydra is such a stunning place and perfect if you want a relaxing, authentic Greek island experience. The fact that there are no cars makes it feel really peaceful, and everywhere you walk you’ve got beautiful stone streets, traditional houses, and amazing sea views.
The water is crystal clear and the swimming spots are incredible—whether you go to a beach or just jump in from the rocks. At the same time, the island still has a nice lively vibe, so it never feels boring.
There are also loads of great places to eat, with lovely seaside restaurants and cafés serving fresh local food. Overall, it’s the perfect place to unwind, explore on foot, and enjoy the scenery. Definitely somewhere we’d happily go back to.

I visited Hydra in April and it was the best time to visit Hydra. I avoided cohorts of tourists and the weather was stunning. Visiting Hydra, I experienced life on a Greek island without long traveling. Hydra is close to Athens so it is a good destination for a day trip or a longer stay. Also, it is a unique place where no cars or bicycles are allowed. Use your own legs to move around or hire a water taxi or a donkey.
