The location is amazing, very close to the port, at the same time very calm. Comfy bed, and the host is so nice and helpful! Everything is available including tableware. Complimentary coffee, tea and water.

Excellent location in town centre, close to port, wonderful rooms in local style, renovated, spacious bathrooms with amenities, experienced spa masseuse. Couldn't ask for anything more for a 3-day city break!

Besides the superb design (it felt like being in a film, the ceilings, the flooring upstairs, the lights and shadows, very dreamy and elegant), everything has been spotless - from service to cleanliness, to kindness of staff. All reviews which complain about lack of breakfast are irrelevant. The hotel description mentions no breakfast, so why expect it? Don’t book if one desires breakfast included, simple! The staff have been so nice, helpful, always smiling. The kitchen is a great bonus, for coffee, etc. The top terrace is sublime. The view… cannot be described. FOS residence is a great accommodation option in Hydra. Worth the price! Do not pay attention to bad reviews of entitled people who don’t know what traveling is about and how to fairly provide a review to such great service.

I liked the staff they were super friendly like a family Hotel was small and quiet and minimal Breakfast was perfect Rooms were great could do with a few more touches ie a stool and table to do hair and make up one reaches an age where one needs to sit and not stand

I would highly rate this island hotel for an amazing luxury break. The hotel's style is elegant & thoughtfully designed, creating a serene & luxurious atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to ensure guests feel welcome & comfortable. The service is top-notch, with attention to detail and a genuine commitment to making your stay unforgettable. The food is delicious & fresh fish is the order of the day. The breakfast menu is extensive & the salads at lunchtime were divine (try the cauliflower salad it’s to die for!). The beach is perfect for swimming, snorkelling & just watching the world go by. The array of boats that moor up in Mandraki Bay means there is great people watching to be had!! There is cute taverna next door for a local lunch or dinner if you don’t fancy hopping on the hotel water taxi into the port. The complimentary water taxi runs all day to & from Hydra port which is such a stunning trip & never got old even after a week at this gorgeous hotel. Shout out to the owner Arthur for being so present & knowledgeable about Hydra, always ready to offer advice on restaurants, walks etc when asked in a charming & understated way.
