On our way to Mani Peninsula we had a great stopover at Akrothea boutique hotel which is situated close to the highqway but in the tranquil Skopi village. Spacious and clean room with a private well equipped bathroom. The 6 rooms are overlooking Tripoli valley and hills nearby, as well as the outdoor infinity pool.a Food is a real experience of flavours and taste which we highly recommend asorted with local wines, all at a very reasonable proce if you consider the high quality of the ingredients and beautiful plating. This new boutique hotel is well worth a 10. Smart TV with Netflix and Prime and good wifi signal all over the property. Balcony overlooking the terrace and pool area. Type 2 charging point available. A recommendation: a shade for the parking area would be highly appreciated.

The rooms were very spacious and could really accommodate the people mentioned (sometimes they say that there is a sofa bed that can be used as a double, but it rarely is the case). The beds and the sofa beds were very comfortable. All of the spaces (rooms, hallways, restaurant, etc.) that we have used/seen were very clean and the breakfast was well cooked and with a good variety (to cater our needs).

Great location - 12 minutes walk to main square.Cafes and supermarkets nearby and yeeros shop right across the road from apartment. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms with balcony. Area was quiet. Very helpful owner met me on arrival for key handover.

Thr location was beautiful and picturesque. The staff went way above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, even going so far as packing us an exceptional take away breakfast in the morning. As we were behind schedule and could not spare the time to sit and eat.The room was amazing. Large, extremely clean and beautiful with a stone fireplace.

the church of saint basilica in the town Centre is...

the church of saint basilica in the town Centre is absolutely amazing to see. The cafe and night life scene is fantastic. The people everywhere were friendly. The food options for 5 star and very cost effective. The centre gate way to base yourself for everything in the Peloponese, making wherever you want to go less than 1.5 hours. Tripolis the centre of Arcadian history. Sparta 35min drive, kalamata 40min, amazing archeological sites everywhere. In Tripolis everyone is treated as a local not a tourist. Best of all you MUST go to the ancient village of ALEA TEGEA one of greeces best kept secrets, authentic museums and temple of Athena. It's only a short drive there from Tripolis - 10mins and get in touch with real authentic Arcadian culture and history.

Everything was just perfect !!!

Everything was just perfect !!! I recommend specially for the nice cool weather in the summer ! The hosts are very friendly and there you can feel at home ! I cannot find the right description for this beautiful place ! IS JUST PERFECT !

Only spent a night as part of a longer trip.

Only spent a night as part of a longer trip. Was not expecting much, but the town was much, but Tripoli was quite charming. Had a fantastic dinner at a cozy, fun restaurant, and could have spent more time exploring the town, shops, and bars. It was a nice surprise, worth checking it out again.

I visited at Christmas and the city was beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was family friendly. There were Christmas lights in every square and a craft market. The restaurants were fantastic and the people very friendly. I loved Saint Basil Holy Orthodox Church. There was snow on the mountains and it felt like Christmas without being too cold!
