Our stay at Hotel Mons Arachova was truly delightful. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The location is amazing as well as the traditional building. The room is very cute and comfortable with a really nice view and in general exceeds the expectations. The staff very polite and ready to help. I traveled in January, when the weather was a bit cool, but since there is no humidity inside you don't even need to use the air-conditioning since the room keeps the heat. Absolutely worth the price!

The lady of the house, Panagia was very, very friendly and made us feel welcome and at home. She helped us to find the way to the guesthouse. She also recommended us the restaurant California, which was a very nice place with very friendly people and the food was honest, very fresh and tastfull.

The place was super clean and cozy. The room had amazing furniture and design that reflected original, excellent taste. It was very well heated—warm and comfortable throughout our stay. The view from the small balcony was spectacular. The location is within walking distance of everything, including supermarkets, restaurants, and cafés. The space was very neat, and with the Christmas vibe, it was beautifully decorated. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely and clean room, the breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of fresh foods and the staff was very kind and extremly helpful, everyone spoke good English. The beds were comfortable and the hotel pool water and surroundings were well taken care of. The whole atmosphere in the hotel was very pleasant and we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Arachova is not the place to have rounds with your car, Main...

Arachova is not the place to have rounds with your car, Main Street is very narrow with two car lanes!!! There are public parking lots, two of them just right after the village. Really worth the burden to visit the ancient sightseeing’s. Further to this the food is great and tasty, there are also a huge variety of suvenirs to get with you

The ancient city is very interesting on its own but combined...

The ancient city is very interesting on its own but combined with the dramatic landscape of steep mountains and views, it is wonderful!! There are a lot of stairs. The museum was definitely worth visiting. It got busy with tour groups so I suspect early or late in the day would be best. We ate in two of the Tavernas with views. Both good.

Nice little village neat Parnassos.

Nice little village neat Parnassos. It feels like the local businesses are never ready to accommodate visitors in high demand period (Long weekends/ Holidays). However the scenery is really nice and you can surely enjoy your stay if you are looking for peaceful vacation in the mountains.

The town has two coves used as harbours.

The town has two coves used as harbours. The yacht marina has many restaurants and pubs. There are several expensive hotels in the town and a few less expensive ones, as well as shops and a pharmacy. It is a charming, small town with many streets for walking by the sea. An Orthodox church stands tall above the town. which itself has a very long history, dating back to the 8th century BC. I was there in mid-September - no crowds, very pleasant stay.

It is an excellent place to stay when you want to visit...

It is an excellent place to stay when you want to visit Delphi, but Itea itself has several restaurants and no shopping district or center for water sports. After you eat, you have pretty much seen Itea.

We stayed in Arachova for one night for our visit to Delphi in June. It was a perfect location to stay for a visit to the site. It is a picturesque mountain village with great shopping, restaurants and views.

Great little village with fantastic taverns and friendly atmosphere. Very peaceful place. We have eaten in Stamatis Tavern and we were extremely impressed! I would definately recommend this place as Arachova gets very busy and packed with people.

This place is absolutely charming.

This place is absolutely charming. There are a number of small beaches right across from the village, many with a shower, changing cabin and umbrella. The harbor can't accommodate large boats so it's very serene with lovely views and a quaint town. I would like to come back here and stay for a week just to relax.

We used Itea as a base to travel to Galaxidi, Delphi, and Arcahova. It’s an attractive little place with sea front cafes/food/bars. They are just lively enough for you to still enjoy the tranquillity of being near sea and mountains. The locals are lovely people and welcome you.
