Superb location with easy beach access: through the gate, cross the quiet road, down a few steps, and into the water. There are beautiful rocks and lagoons if you love snorkelling. But first: sipping espresso under the villa's olive tree watching a sunrise (moonrise also available from the comfort of the terrace under a ceiling fan). There is a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine and dishwasher plus many small appliances too. It is an easy 20-minute walk to the town centre along the beautiful seashore. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes away. Good wifi and air conditioning throughout the villa. The bed is fine but it is firm. There is a nearby taverna but we only saw it open a couple of times (we came in early September); The beach bar opposite is good for those days you forget to buy coffee pods albeit expensive. The host is ever so friendly and helpful; when we needed some sharper kitchen knives for cooking with she had them to us later the same day! She also helped with booking a taxi to and from the villa from the ferry with our bags (€15 each way). Aside: we highly recommend hiring an eBike to explore the island (€25 for 24h from LifeCycle). There is a bike rack at the villa, too. If you come in September then be sure to check which Saturday has the Armata festival - it is not to be missed! Highly recommend this villa; We had a very relaxing holiday here.

I was looking for a place to stay a bit outside of the center of Spetses town. 7 Islands proved to be the perfect choice! You are welcomed by entering a lovely garden where breakfast is served in the morning and you can relax at any time of day. I stayed in two different rooms, both with a magnificent view of the island and the sea. The property is clean and well taken care of. The staff has been incredible the entire time. Run by a family, you can count on feeling very much at home at 7 Islands. I had a little health issue happen to me and was perfectly taken care of by the staff which really helped. The walk from center of town to the property is very nice, as you pass through little calm roads filled with flowers and trees. I recommend this place without any doubt!!

Guesthouse Niriides is a really lovely place to stay, a beautifully restored old building with modern amenities yet retaing its old world charm. Our host was delightful and couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was home made and delicious with different breads/cakes and fruit every morning. The jams and preserves were freshly made by her mother who was equally generous and gave us pot of apricot jam to take home. The bed... well.. we were first to try the new comfort bed that arrived and it was heaven! We cannot recommend Niriides enough. We will return... in the autumn next time! Loved it!

From the minute we arrived on Spetses and our luggage collected by Zoe's Club we were extremely satisfied. Arriving at the property and greeted by Anna and the ladies made us so happy. The room blew us away. So so clean, spacious and beautiful decor. The walk to the room is also a dream. Staff are so attentive. Of course they are all women! High aesthetic and not a thing out of place.

Mare Monte was fabulous in every respect, family owned and run with attention to detail, great breakfast and relaxation area, large immaculately cleaned rooms. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Friendly and super helpful owners. They arranged golf buggy so that 4 of us could circle the wonderful island of Spetses. Highly recommend and much better than big impersonal hotels

It's a good location, less than a minute's walk to bars, restaurants and the sea but not a lot of noise directly outside. I sat in the courtyard in the mornings and was brought coffee and pastries. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff were very polite. I would definitely stay again!

Very friendly and always ready to assist stuff, providing all necessary information and help. The breakfast was superb - just made fresh orange juice, home made jam, croissant, pie and other home made food. We were offered late checkout untill 6 pm for just 30 Euro.

Spetses was the perfect island to end our Greek holiday.

Spetses was the perfect island to end our Greek holiday. It has a much slower pace than some of the other islands, so ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The Old Port is full of restaurants and bars, and it's lovely to stroll along the waterfront in the evenings, but can be surprisingly pricey. We hired an ATV for a day, which made it easy to explore the island and discover different beaches and quieter spots at our own pace. There isn't a huge amount to do in terms of sightseeing or activities, so if you're looking for a busy island with lots of attractions and nightlife, you may find it a little quiet. Some of the organised beach clubs can also be quite expensive. .

Spetses is not on everyone's Greek isle list but the experience was delightful. Some of the best restaurants in all of Greece and the best clear water beaches. Lots of swimming right in the town. Lots of history as well. One needs at least 3 days.

It´s a lovely island.

It´s a lovely island. Can feel upscale in several places, but it is very welcoming and enjoyable. Convenient in the relationship with Piraeus and Athens, it has a nice range of beaches, good cycling options, and an enjoyable downtown.
