The apartment is located in a building right behind the Buda castle. By foot, you can reach the Fisherman's Bastion in 15 minutes. There are 3 different bus stops near the apartment (you can easily plan your trips with public transportation using Google Maps). The city centre is just a 15-minute bus ride away from the apartment. The apartment has everything you need (a well-furnished kitchen, a clean bathroom and a comfy bed). If you're looking for a nothing-fancy, nice small place for your trip in amazing Budapest, this is IT.

We stayed one night as a stop-over on our travel through Hungary. The hotel is situated south of Budapest, outside a village on a large compound in a forest-like setting with spa (we didn't use), horses and a pond. The rooms are good size and the decor is fine for the price, but could use some updating and there isn't an elevator for the upstairs rooms. The restaurant is open until 20:00 (kitchen until 19:00) and offers a variety of dishes, we had the Goulash and Schnitzel, which was good. Very friendly, accommodating staff.

I stayed for the second time this year at Baroque Hostel and I have three more stays in May, June and July for three more rock concerts. I've always said it's my second home, but every time I find something interesting. For example, this time I crossed the street and in the park opposite the Hostel I visited the museum in the House of Music, a must see in Budapest. The building is spectacular, built in 2022 by Sou Fujimoto. Next time I will go to see her at night too.

Apartment is big enough for a family of 4. Location is great, in the quiet street, so you can rest and sleep well after long walks in Budapest. Location is great, near the Fishermen bastion, chain bridge, and not far from the Buda castle. On the weekend days you can park in front of the building for free. Beds are very comfortable and the place is clean. Owners are also very pleasant people. All in all, I would recommend this place, beacuse we felt good and wellcomed.

Breakfast was so good. The pastries really threw my diet out the window! Staff were extremely attentive and really willing to help. Room was a nice size but slightly confusing layout (shower and bathtub in separate rooms) comparing to Sofitel in Munich in a similar room type, I can say that this hotel was good value for money. Close to public transport (tram and underground) and within walking distance to some tourist attractions on the pest side of Budapest.

This is a very nice hotel with very nice reception and spatious rooms with very comfy beds. Also bathroom is very nice. Cannot complain. Breakfast was superb! A lot to choose from and a bit different every day - very nice! Connections to central Budapest is by bus or metro that is from 100 to 400m away. Hotel has parking garage for 15€/day. Up in hotel there is spa. Welcome drink. I would definitely stay here again in Budapest.

I appreciated the calm of the hotel located in a small street, just closed to the metro station. - Room was clean and quiet - Price reasonnable - Not far from City center. The receptionnist Zsaklin was very nice and attentive to explain me all the services offered in the Hotel and to give me tips on where to go or to visit in Budapest, as it was my first time there. It made my stay very pleasant. I will come back next time.

We have nothing but praise for Danubius Hotel Helia. Great location spotlessly clean and easy accessible by bus. The pools at the spa are amazing! 4 different pools with various temperatures according to ones needs. At the reception they are all smart and very helpful. Breakfast is abundant with everything possible. Staying at this hotel made our holiday at Budapest even more magical!

Great place to spend one night. There is free parking, not far (by car) to city center. Free parking. Good breakfast. For money which I paid, it's really good option. Amazing location. Just moments away from the metro station. Within walking distance to many landmarks. The street has plenty of options (coffee, food, shopping and more). The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was adequate and fresh. The water pressure in rooms was great. Highly recommended for a few days stay in Budapest! It is all about location location location!

The room was wonderful. So much so that we will very likely contact the owners to see what kind of "special" rate they might be willing to offer us should we return to Budapest for an extended (3-4 week stay) in this wonderful city. We took advantage of the amenities, cooking utensils, etc. that were part of this large, bright, charming apartment.

Fabulous location for exploring Budapest, everything in easy walking distance, the views from the room were outstanding. The hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere smelt lovely and fresh and the memory foam beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and served until 10 which was nice. I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return.

Superb place to stay if your flight is put back six hours and your travel plans are changed. A good hotel, well organised, attractive, with helpful staff and good rooms. The bed was particularly comfortable. I would have preferred to go straight to southern Hungary on arrival at Budapest but this was a convenient alternative.

We liked the room. It was very spacious and comfortable. There were everything we needed (even a washing machine). The bed is very comfortable. Hotel’s location is quite ok, about 2-3 km from the main sightseeings. We liked the breakfast also. We will consider this hotel as a option next time we will be in Budapest.

One of my favorite places in Budapest. A bit noisy at night but other than that checks the boxes and most importantly feels right. Very friendly service, washer & dryer available for guests. Very friendly staff, clean apartments, central location. Well-equipped kitchen. Functional space and pleasant.

This is a beautiful and spacious apartment right in the heart of Budapest! When you walk out of the apartment you are right by the river Danube and all of the attractions are walkable. We had a wonderful stay. The owners communicated really well before we arrived and seem lovely people.

It's a beautiful apartment, well located (nice and interesting Budapest district, walking distance to lots of places to see and visit, close to public transportation) and well equipped. Slept well in it, as the bed was good and the place not at all noisy.
