We were made to feel so welcome by the owners who took us on tour of their garden and to a sunset spot for coffee. The guest house is in such a beautiful setting and our rooms were very tasteful. Food was delicious and we enjoyed meeting other guests. Definitely the best place we stayed on our trip.

The beautiful property is approx 1.5 hours from Mysore and on the main road to Bandipur. People are warm and the food is exceptionally great. The time spent with naturalist Murthy was the highlight of our stay. The property is surrounded by sun flower farms and acres of mango and coconut trees.

What was good - excellent food (especially the buffet), very attentive staff, excellent location by the river. Activities were nice - indoor games, bullock cart, cycling, massage etc.

    1. Ensure you book safaris in advance online (2 days) 2. Work out where you're staying relative to safari start - some resorts are ~30 minutes away from safari points and booms are down in the early mornings. 3. Safaris are 90 mins long, and are on the expensive side. We had to truncate our trip since one of our sons was unwell, but we wish we could have spent more time and done more safaris.

    The best part about Evolve Back was the care and attention...

    The best part about Evolve Back was the care and attention provided by the entire team. From the management to the housekeeping personnel, courtesy, polite behavior, and helpfulness were genuinely palpable. Interacting with the chefs, naturalists, housekeeping staff, attendants, and boatmen was a delight. Their behavior and the feel they imparted at every step of our stay will be remembered and propagated for a long time! Thank you, everyone, for making our trip so memorable. 10/10 everywhere.

    Travelling with family, i booked this hotel to freshen up on...

    Travelling with family, i booked this hotel to freshen up on my way from Waynad to Blore. not intended to stay. hence booked for 1 person. it was a less than 1 hour stay so my family can use bathroom and freshen up. When I arrived this place was completely desolated, no one around, then there was a mobile no, to call, i called and then the receptionist came. I told him the fact. he denied giving room saying it is booked for 1 person only. Instead he asked me to cancel the booking and pay him cash so he can allow me and my family members to use the wash room [3 persons!!!] Since i had not paid, and not given my credit card details, i cancelled and paid him cash. Now i find the entire 1 day charge is deducted by Booking.com through ruptub!!! this is cheating by Booking.com and the hotel staff!!!!! Better to use other platform to book..
