Very pleased with this newly-opened business hotel. It was a great location for getting around central Bangalore, 15 mins to Indiranagar. Staff were very helpful and professional, room was really clean and practical. If you're looking for somewhere polished and professional, this hotel is a good bet.

Everything was perfect! I stayed there for 10 days. The place is clean, the room is lovely, and the small kitchen is very convenient. As a backpacker, having access to both a washing machine and a dryer was amazing, a real luxury 😅 The neighborhood is calm and peaceful. I loved doing my yoga every morning on the rooftop and watching the flying bats in the evening. The staff are super kind and helpful 🙏 It’s also right next to Ranga Shankara Theatre, so if you enjoy evening performances, the location is ideal. If I come back to Bangalore, I will definitely stay at OBS again.

Great city with lot of greenery.

Great city with lot of greenery. Many historical places and devotional and cultural centres are there. Traffic jam will steal plenty of your time. City bus services are very helpful.Some amazing restaurants are there too. However the autorickshaw drivers are really looters.

Try and stay at places which is closer to beach.

Try and stay at places which is closer to beach. Else getting to beach and returning to hotel is a big task ! As i saw in map, there are no beaches inside the mangalore city ( meaning, panambur , tannirbavi etc are in the outskirts 5-7kms from the city center ) . Ideally around surathkal is the best bet for stay and eat lots of icecream .

Really enjoyed my stay at Madikeri.

Really enjoyed my stay at Madikeri. Wish if I could stay for another 4 days to enjoy the monsoon. Went to Abby falls by auto and while coming back stopped at Raja ji tomb. Raja ki seat is another beautiful place to visit and spend some time with nature

The Rough Guide discourages staying in Hassan too the point of not even listing accommodation in favour of Belur. I followed Alex Reynolds' (lostwithpurpose.com ) budget recommendation which is 10 minutes from the Bus Stand and 2 minutes from the 5th Floor rooftop 'Beer Garden Restro' and 1 minute from a good 'english wine shop'

Located close to Devanahalli and enjoys proximity to Kempegowda International Airport, It a great place to stay close to the airport. proximity to the highway and decent hotels and restaurant make the area attractive for budget travelers. presence of many hotels which are family friendly and the peaceful village atmosphere is green and lends itself for a nice walk in the evenings. The locality is well‑connected by road and BMTC bus services and app services like food delivery and cab apps are accessible from all the hotels and guest houses here

Our Two days trip was packed.

Our Two days trip was packed. If you are a relaxed traveler and don't want to rush ,maybe three days would be good. Ideally, one day for North Hampi and one for South Hampi is sufficient. The Auto drivers are well informed and help with planning your day. September to February would be the best time to visit. One visit is a must.
