Really enjoyed my stay here. The swimming pool was clean and perfect to unwind. The terrace is ideal for yoga, especially with the peaceful vibe. Loved that it’s a pure vegetarian place. A great spot for a calm and relaxing stay. The staff is very friendly and vijay is your man for any information in auroville.

Very good experience overall. The room was clean, air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff members were friendly and cooperative. The hotel maintained good hygiene standards in all areas including lobby and dining space.

I had a very comfortable stay at Sandpoint Hotel. The room service was good, and the room was super clean, hygienic, and well maintained. I was travelling with my baby, and the hospitality was really great. It’s a brand-new property, around six months old, but it has all the required facilities, including excellent Wi-Fi and parking. The location is convenient, right on the main road, with nearby places and the beach easily accessible, especially if you have a car. The breakfast was also worth mentioning — delicious, fresh, and with a good variety. Overall, a clean, comfortable, and value-for-money stay.

My husband and I had an incredible time spending nine wonderful nights at The Promenade in Puducherry, India. We absolutely loved waking up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Bay of Bengal. Our evenings were filled with delightful strolls along the promenade, and we spent our mornings exploring the charming churches, temples, and cafes that dotted the area. In the afternoons, we indulged in relaxing swims in the pool. The room we stayed in was a true gem. It was cool and comfortable, with a beautiful window and Juliet balcony that offered a stunning view of the ocean. The staff at The Promenade were exceptional. We want to express our deepest gratitude to Ms. Pritti in the restaurants, Ms. Soundarya with housekeeping, and Mr. Tara Babu at the front desk. Their attention to detail and hospitality made our stay truly memorable. The restaurants at The Promenade were a culinary delight. They offered a delightful fusion of franchise and Tamil flavors, and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing the delicious meals. We highly recommend staying at The Promenade on Rock Beach. It’s an unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever.

We had a wonderful stay al Le Pondy. The rooms were delightful with a baranda outside with an overhead fan. The staff was attentive to our needs and wants. The message at the Ayurveda center was excellent. Walking on the beach to see the fishermen and especially the sunrise was memorable. We highly recommend Le Pondy.

Though we understand its a tourist city, the crowd during the weekend was too heavy. Having said that the city police had good control over the situation. The city cleanliness was also maintained, but for the traffic in the lanes as they are narrow and still you can move as the police was guiding people to park vehicles in the old port parking lot

Mahe is a small town between Kozhikode and Kannur.

Mahe is a small town between Kozhikode and Kannur. The Mayyazhi river is very scenic especially where it enters the sea. People and nice and helpful. Food options are limited with very few good restaurants.

Beautiful and relaxing.

Beautiful and relaxing. Friendly staff and very beautiful lavish greenish gardens with children play area. Great relax playing basketball, volleyball and shuttle. Felt secured silent peaceful stay with great hospitality from the manager Siva. Sure, I'll visit again and recommend to my friends and families.

A beautiful temple for some specific reason. The location needs to be maintained. The temple tank area is so dirty. Not sure if we can blame the management, ideally the visitors also need to be responsible enough not to dirty the place. The temple tank needs cleanups and the area around it needs to be garbage free.

Excellent beaches in Puducherry, especially Paradise Beach, which I liked the most. The boat ride to reach the exact spot was a very nice experience. The Auroville area was also great to explore. Temples, museums, and churches are some of the main places to visit. The Old Lighthouse and Rock Beach are among the highlights of Puducherry. Overall, it was a nice trip and a good place to explore with family. Food restaurants are usually crowded during weekends, so it is better to plan accordingly, especially if you are travelling with children. City traffic can be heavy, and travelling by self-driving car is quite challenging. I noticed many tourists using two-wheelers to move around the city. However, travelling with family on two-wheelers may not always be convenient.

Made wrong decision to choose perl mahe. Poor customer care. Denied breakfast included with fair. Receptionist says we never served breakfast ever. Requested to clean the room in the morning and done after 10 at night when I came back to get some sleep. Rude receptionist. Staff are never trained into the hospitality industry. Without begging Customer won’t get any service. In the middle of the night ringing on the service line to disrupt the sleep. Never recommend to others. Worthless.

Pondicherry central is beautiful with the French architecture, delicious food , veg & nonveg, reasonably priced, multiple eateries all around, mostly one way traffic which was most amusing coming from Mumbai, layout too excellent of the entire town. Eateries like The Artisan, De Bussy, road corners tea stalls with variety of tea snacks and other tandoori stalls. Except for Auroville, did the walk all around central town visiting the beautiful Churches, museum, Aurobindo ashram, french quarters, rock and promenade beach and monuments along the way .

Not much to do here unless you plan to stay and drink at the millions of wine shops and bars. The Tagore Walkway was nice, the little park at the base of the lighthouse was okay. Its a slightly depressing town of mostly drunk folks stumbling about, with cheap booze and cheap fuel due to the union territory tag I guess.
