Rooms are complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower, while certain rooms at Gasthof Trausberg also offer a balcony. All rooms include a desk. Our room and bath were spacious. Excellent shower pressure. Room was impeccably clean. The hostess was so gracious. We enjoyed our dinner there. Breakfast was amazing. Eggs cooked to order. Fresh bread and breakfast items. Homemade jams. Would highly recommend!

This is a superb little guest house, facilities were very clean and well spec'd - much better than we'd anticipated given the price in comparison to the local area, they had a garage I could use for our bikes and they had a self service system for cold beers (for which you need cash). Mountains nearby were good as well.

The hotel is beautiful and so well maintained. We visited in August and enjoyed both pools. The staff were really lovely and service was excellent. This is mainly German speaking but all staff were very happy to speak in English. The food was awesome. Such a good spread for breakfast and light lunch. Dinner is excellent and different menus each evening. There are nice walking trails straight out of the hotel. We would come back here again and again.

Awesome service!, pool and garden are stylish and perfect to chill and to enjoy the breathtaking mountain views, huge breakfast buffet with fresh, local foods, the 5 course dinner is the highlight. Highly recommended.

nice hotel to use as a base to explore merano and surroundings without being in the center. easy to park on site. Staff were super friendly and breakfast and dinner were very nice as we prefer to stay in hotel once we back from hiking

This hotel was so amazing. The bed and bedding were super comfortable. The bathtub was a thing of daydreams and there were so many thoughtful additions. We were given a hiking backpack to use as well as a beach bag. I especially adored the sachet of herbs that was carefully selected for use in the bathtub. The hotel was surrounded by great restaurants for breakfast and dinner.

The manager/owner of this family business was so kind and accommodating as I was doing a bike race across the Alps . They had a safe place for my bike, a really awesome room with cool views for a great price. He was really friendly and chatted away to me. They washed and folded all my clothes in a very short time, before I went to bed so I could pack up, as I was in a rush with a race. Dinner was lovely.
