An amazing ryokan experience. Very comfortable, spacious room in medium size hotel. Half board included excellent full Japanese buffet including drinks with almost all guests dressed in yukata which we enjoyed. However, that might not suit everyone. Staff were very helpful and written instructions in English were enough to get by.

There are lots of choices for breakfast, which suits both Japanese and foreign guests. I especially like the grilled saba (fish). It's about a 10 minute stroll to the stadium or to the centre of the city. Staff are friendly, helpful and capable of speaking English. Coffee machine in the lobby.

You can see Tosu Station as soon as you exit the hotel. You can get to Hakata in Fukuoka in only 20-30 mins with the local train, and the closest Shinkansen station is one station away. Nearby are some convenience stores and restaurants, and behind the hotel is a huge shopping mall. The room itself is nice and clean, and the bathroom was the biggest one I used in Japan (separate toilet and shower room!). The lobby is well-equipped with free razors, q-tips, shower gels, etc. and the kitchen/dining room area has a vending machine with drinks and snacks. Also convenient if you need spare change for doing laundry.

The room is clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful. The location is good - very close to train station, bus stop, tourist information center, and supermarket.

The location nearby Tosu station is very convenient. All staffs there are friendly and attentive. The facilities in the room are clean and comfortable. It's a wonderful living experience. I would like to visit here again.

Everything. The cute and comfy yukata. The traditional Japanese style room had a nice retro vibe, with a traditional low table and sliding doors separating the main room from the small one with the river view. The public bath was spacious and clean. The lounge had a great variety of drinks and snacks.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, giving us great recommendations. Central location very close to the pottery area. Retro vibes.

Good location but to get there from station is a bit annoying as you need to go around as there is no direct crossing. So you are wasting extra time going around but that city problem and hotel fault. Hotel is great. The usual old fashioned business hotel. Staff were great. I skiped breakfast so not sure about it. I want tried the hotsping either but not sure if if it is tatoo friendly tbh.. I had good stay overall. Wished my room was a little but higher though. 2nd floor is a bit low.

Great views and awesome staff to help, we recommend a small Raman bar called the Evening Star, one of the best ramens we have had
